Kenny Omega - NJPW's Chris Jericho vs. Kenny Omega - Wrestle Kingdom 12

– While he wasn’t scheduled for any NJPW appearances prior to WrestleKingdom 12 on January 4th, Chris Jericho surprised fans and Kenny Omega appearing at this morning’s World Tag League Finals show. Jericho first appeared via video package after the Elite defeated Roppongi 3k in tag team action, and then in the ring, attacking Omega. Jericho hit him with the code breaker, and then bloodied Omega, hitting him with the IWPG US Title. Jericho also took out announcer, and long time friend, Don Callis when Callis tried to check on Omega; Callis was stretchered out. You can check out an excerpt from our full report below…

We get another Chris Jericho video, clapping for Omega and asking if he’s ready for WrestleKingdom 12. Jericho says he will beat the hell out of Omega. Back in the arena and Chris JERICHO IS HERE AND HITS THE CODE BREAKER on Omega and he beats down Omega. Jericho grabs the US title and lays out Omega! He then takes out the ref and a young lion. Omega is busted open and Jericho continues to beat on Omega. Another code breaker by Jericho and he stands tall. Announcer Don Callis tries to check on Omega and Jericho takes him out and continues to beat on a bloody Kenny Omega and poses with the US Title. The Young Bucks return and make the save, running off Jericho. Don Callis is stretchered out.
