Hirai Kawato vs. Syota Umino: Umino is the son of referee red shoes, and debuted at the recent Lion’s Gate show in a solid little outing with TAKA. They worked some basic back and forth grappling in front of a receptive crowd. Kawato is actually earning quite the fan following. Kawato picked up the speed and aggression, going for several pins and then working the camel clutch. Umino escaped and fired back with forearms, but Kawato quickly cut that off until Umino hit the dropkick and forearm strikes. His offense didn’t last long as Kawato hit a dropkick and locked in the crab. Umino fought, but Kawato pulled back in lion tamer like fashion to get the submission. Hirai Kawato vs. Syota Umino @ 4:50 via submission

YOSHI-HASHI vs. Tomoyuki Oka: Oka looked to overpower HASHI early, taking him down and laying the boots to him. HASHI quickly put an end to that, slamming Oka down and then laying in some chops. HASHI is not amused with the young lion here, upping the aggression and looking to punish him. They trade strikes with HASHI continually daring Oka to fight back. HASHI drapes Oka over the ropes and hits a running dropkick. They trade strikes, and Oka comes back with a big spinebuster. Oka then hits shoulder blocks to take control, but HASHI fights off the crab but gets caught with a Saito suplex. Oka the locks in the crab, but HASHI fights and makes the ropes. Jado & Toru Yano vs. TAKA Michinoku & Takashi Iizuka: The latest chapter in CHAOS vs. Suzuki-gun. We start with the typical Suzuki-gun floor brawl. Iizuka and Yano pair off and start things off in the ring. Yano tries to do his rope break spot, so Iizuka bites him. Yano hides behind the ref and bails to the floor. Jado and TAKA in now, they trade shoulder blocks and then Jado does his tribute to Flair chops and then gets tripped up and pulled to the floor by Iizuka. Suzuki-gun takes control on the floor, with Iizuka using a chair on Yano. Back in the ring as TAKA rakes the eyes of Jado. Iizuka bites Jado as TAKA then chokes him out in the ropes. TAKA works him over in the corner, Jado fights back until Iizuka bites him again, and then chokes him out with a chain. Jado fights back with kicks and a lariat, and gets the tag to Yano. Yano rips off the buckle pad, Iizuka steals it and Yano sends him to the exposed buckle. They do some comedy; Iizuka chases the ref and attacks Yano. TAKA in and he runs into the exposed buckle. Jado in, he cleans house and locks in the crossface on TAKA. TAKA fights but Jado keeps the hold until Iizuka makes the save. Kitamura is all fired up and starts for his team. Owens says fuck that noise and tags out right away. Tonga to start for Bullet Club, but eats a huge shoulder block and tags out to Loa. They go face to face, and go straight up hoss battle; Kitamura hits the flying shoulder block, but Yujiro sneaks in and attacks, allowing Loa to take control and work over the young lion in his corner. Bullet Club works quick tags as they work over Kitamura in their corner. Owens tried to work the heat, but Kitamura just got pissed and hulked up, no selling his strikes and then getting the tag to Tenzan. He worked over Owens with the Mongolian chops and head butts. The suplex followed and then a mountain bomb for 2. Finlay tagged in, but Loa cut him off as we got a big floor brawl. Yujiro then worked over Finlay; Kojima made the save, but distracted the ref allowing Bullet Club to beat on Finlay in their corner. Loa hit the running powerslam for 2. Quick tags and back rakes by Bullet Club on Finlay. Tonga misses a corner splash and Finlay tosses him to the floor and hits the diving uppercut on Loa before tagging in a fired up Kojima. Rapid fire chops on the Guerrillas follow, but they look to cur him off but miscommunication allows Kojima to fight back with DDTs. Tonga cuts odd the lariat with a spear. Bullet Club then works the corner attacks, but Kojima hits the Koji cutter on Yujiro and gets the hot tag to Kitamura. He’s a brick shithouse of fire, running wild and suplexing Loa. He turns his attention to Yujiro, Owens in to make the save and that allows Yujiro to hit the pimp juice DDT for the win. Beretta, Rocky Romero, Hirooki Goto, & Will Ospreay vs. El Desperado, Taichi, Yoshinobu Kanemaru, & Minoru Suzuki: This is here to set up the junior tag title match as well as Suzuki vs. Goto; Ospreay is just hanging around with his thumb up his ass until BOTSJ, while Desperado is Desperado. We start with the typical Suzuki-gun floor brawl. Suzuki and Goto paired off, as Taichi used his mic stand to attack Beretta. Back in the ring and Taichi tried to use the bell hammer, but Beretta finally saw it coming and stopped him, he tossed it to the floor and then worked over Taichi. Romero then joined him and they worked double teams, Kanemaru tried and failed to make the save. Forever clotheslines by Romero as he maintains control. It breaks down, and they again brawl to the floor, with Suzuki using a table to beat on Goto. Desperado and Osprey brawl into the crowd, Suzuki tries to rip off Ospreay’s leg, likely with plans to beat him with it. Back in the ring, Kanemaru & Taichi worked over Romero. Yoshitatsu, Ricochet, Ryusuke Taguchi, Hiroshi Tanahashi, & Juice Robinson vs. EVIL, BUSHI, SANADA, Tetsuya Naito, & Hiromu Takahashi: This is the latest chapter in LIJ vs. Tanahashi & Friends; setting up Tanahashi vs. EVIL, Ricochet vs. Takahashi & Juice vs. Naito and likely another trios title match down the line. I was somewhat excited for this until I realized that fucking Yoshitatsu is back; his hair is somehow worse than when he left, I think he got a perm. LIJ attacked before the bell, leading to a floor brawl, which is just poor planning coming out of the Suzuki-gun tag; Tanahashi and friends work the rapid fire corner attacks on Naito. Taguchi signals the next play as they slam Naito’s face into his ass. Tanahashi in to work over Naito, but EVIL makes the save, allowing Naito to attack Juice and attempt to rip his hair out. SANADA worked over Tanahashi as Takahashi & BUSHI took out Ricochet. EVIL and Tanahashi then paired off as Naito tossed Taguchi. Tanahashi eventually fought off EVIL & SANADA, BUSHI tried to stop the tag but Tanahashi bitch slapped him; Juice got the hot tag and looked to go right after Naito, who bailed to the floor. Ricochet tagged in and promptly made BUSHI his bitch, Juice cut off Naito and he and Ricochet then worked him over with double teams. Takahashi tags in, he and BUSHI try to attack Ricochet, but he fights them both off. Ricochet’s stuff is looking so effortless here. Takahashi then cuts him off with the superkick, Tatsu gets the tag and LIJ swarms him and looks to beat him down, but he fires up and hits a knee strike and pedigree on SANADA for 2. Taguchi takes out BUSHI, Tatsu up top but misses the spin kick, EVIL returns, and SANADA hits Tatsu with a Saito suplex for 2. Skull end follows and Tatsu taps. Okada quickly fought back, fighting off both Omega and Fale. Okada and Omega fought to the floor, as Fale beat down Ishii in the ring. Omega & Fale kept the heat, working quick tags and keeping Ishii in their corner. Okada makes the save, but Omega tosses him to the floor and follows with a placha. Omega then hits a RANA on Ishii, tags in Fale but he misses a corner charge; Ishii looks for the tag, but Okada is still down on the floor. After failing at the suplex attempt, Ishii hits a DDT on Dale and tags in Okada. He ran wild, and eventually slammed Fale. Fale quickly fought back, tagging in Omega. Okada hit the over the knee air raid crash, Ishii back in and hits a powerslam on Omega. He then lays in the chops, the lariat and suplex follow for 2. Omega and Ishii trade strikes, Omega hits the Finlay roll into a moonsault, and covers for 2. Omega makes his won comeback on Okada & Ishii, tossing Okada and working over Ishii. Okada returns, cuts off V Trigger as it breaks down and Ishii tosses Fale. Ishii and Omega do a great back and forth, playing off of past meetings and countering signature stuff. Omega hits a sitout powerbomb for 2 as Fale takes Okada to the floor. After another great counter sequence, Omega hits V Trigger for a near fall; Ishii fights off the one winged angel and hits a lariat for a great near fall. Okada and Fale tag back in, Fale hits the splash for 2 as Ishii makes the save; Okada counters the grenade with a dropkick, and calls for a tombstone but Omega makes the save. V trigger and the Fale splash gets a near fall on Okada. Okada escapes the grenade again, but Fale hits the tombstone and pins Okada.
