Jushin Thunder Liger, Hirai Kawato & Tomoyuki Oka vs. Tiger Mask, Katsuya Kitamura & Shota Umino: The junior dads started things off as the youngins watched on during take your kids to work day, Liger worked the Romero special and then tagged on Kawato. He fired up with forearms before laying the boots to Tiger Mask. Oka tagged in, but Tiger Mask quickly took control, tagging Umino in. They did a quick back and forth, with Tiger Mask helping out and stopping Oka’s tag attempt. Kitamura in and runs wild on Oka, and hits the suplex for 2. Oka finally manages to fight back, but runs into a dropkick from Umino, who then locks on the crab. Oka escapes and it breaks down as Oka fights back and hits the spinebuster and crab on Umino. He makes the ropes, but Oka then hits a powerslam and locks in the crab again and Umino has to tap. Non-Title Match: Champions Rocky Romero & Beretta vs. Yoshinobu Kanemaru & El Desperado: Kanemaru was still salty after losing the titles to Roppongi Vice, and looked to brawl with Romero right away. Romero quickly fought back, hitting forever clotheslines on both Kanemaru & Desperado. This led to everyone brawling on the floor for a bit, and then Kanemaru taking the heat on Romero back in the ring. Desperado pulled something out of his boot, and jabbed it into the eyes of Romero; he was slick about it and it’s much more low key in a Memphis kind of way than Taichi’s LOOK AT ME I HAVE THE GIANT BELL HAMMER AND DON’T EVEN TRY TO HIDE IT VERY WELL bullshit. Kanemaru in, continuing the heat but Romero got the hot tag, allowing Beretta to fire up and then connect with a nice dive. He tossed Kanemaru back in, hit the tornado DDT and then running knee strike for 2. Desperado distracts Beretta, allowing Kanemaru to cut him off. Desperado in, and they double-team Beretta but Romero makes the save. Back to the floor and Kanemaru has a chair, but misses Beretta ad eats a double knee strike. Strong zero follows and that is that. Champions Rocky Romero & Beretta defeated Yoshinobu Kanemaru & El Desperado @ 8:18 via pin

SANADA & BUSHI vs. Ryusuke Taguchi & Yoshitatsu: Taguchi’s music has been undubbed. Not that it will make him any better, but can we get Tatsu out of the Triple H cosplay? SANADA attacks Tatsu from behind to begin, but Taguchi is quick to make the save. BUSHI easily fights off Tatsu, and chokes him out with his shirt as SANADA ties up Taguchi in the ropes. This allows SANADA & BUSHI to beat Tatsu about the head and shoulders for his shitty hair and clothes. Tatsu manages to roll and tag in Taguchi, who has to fight on his own and does well, hitting rolling suplexes on BUSHI. Taguchi hits the ass attack, and tags out to Tatsu. He lays in kicks and a neck breaker on SANADA, a knee strike and shitty pedigree follow for 2. Taguchi & BUSHI battle to the floor, BUSHO then helped SANADA take control over Tatsu and hot a dive onto Taguchi. Back in and SANADA locked in skull end and Tatsu had to tap. SANADA & BUSHI defeated Ryusuke Taguchi & Yoshitatsu @ 6:25 via submission

Hiroyoshi Tenzan, Satoshi Kojima & David Finlay vs. Tama Tonga, Tanga Loa & Yujiro Takahashi: Tongo has a big sleeve on his right arm, he was injured yesterday and there was a fear that he suffered a ruptured biceps; but it’s Japan, so drink a beer and walk it off. TenKoji & Finlay actually attacked before the bell, making sure not to fall for the Bullet Club shenanigans. This led to Finlay & Yujiro going back and forth for a bit and then Kojima working with Tonga. Loa would cut off Kojima, but then Tenzan made the save, leading to double team on Tonga. Kojma then worked the rapid-fire chops but got cut off by Loa when he went for the elbow drop. Tonga worked over Kojima as the others brawled on the floor. Bullet Club then worked quick tags, isolating Kojima in their corner. Kojima fought back, tagging in Tenzan, who served up some delicious chops and then locked in the anaconda vice on Tonga. Yujiro made the save, and Loa got the tag but Finlay tagged in as well, picked up the pace but Yujiro rushed in and hit the fisherman’s buster only to run into the TenKoji Cutter. Loa worked over Finlay, hitting a sitout powerbomb for 2.Loa then hit a version of the Greetings from Asbury Park for the win. Suzuki-gun (Minoru Suzuki, Taichi & TAKA Michinoku) vs. CHAOS (Hirooki Goto, YOSHI-HASHI & Will Ospreay): CHAOS initiated the attack, with Goto looking particularly pissed over losing his title, leading to the typical Suziki-gun floor brawl to begin. Back in and HASHI works over Taichi & TAKA. Taichi would gain control by using the bell hammer, to the shock of no one. HASHI avoided a superkick, but TAKA cut him off before he could tag out. Suzuki then tagged in and had nothing but bad intentions and pain for HASHI. HASHI would eventually survive the beating, hit a back spin kick and get the hot tag to Goto who beat the hell out of Suzuki. TAKA and Taichi tried to make the save, but Goto fought then off and hot a Saito suplex on Suzuki. They traded strikes center ring, Suzuki then locked in the sleeper. Goto fought off the Gotch piledriver, but Suzuki scored with a running knee strike. Ospreay and TAKA in now, TAKA gets an eye poke in to take control as Suzuki-gun beats him down and clears the ring. Goto takes out Suzuki, and the ushigoroshi follows. Ospreay hits the springboard forearm, cyclone kick and OsCutter on TAKA to put him away. CHAOS defeated Suzuki-gun @ 9:50 via pin

CHAOS (Kazuchika Okada, Tomohiro Ishii & Toru Yano) vs. Bullet Club (Bad Luck Fale, Kenny Omega & Chase Owens): Bullet Club attacked before the bell, trying to beat down Okada day before his title defense against Fale. CHAOS quickly regrouped, taking the fight to Fale. Yano does his rope break shtick, completely annoying Fale. Fale then takes him to the floor and beats on him as Omega works over Okada. Omega grabs a binder from one of the announcers and beats on Okada & Yano with it. Back in and Bullet Club works the heat on Yano, utilizing quick tags and double teams to keep him in their corner. Yano finally got the hair pull takedown on Omega, ripped off the buckle pad but Omega stole it and accidentally hit the ref; Yano played Eddie Guerrero to try and get Omega DQ’d and then low blowed him and tagged in Ishii. Ishii worked over Omega, but Omega quickly fought back hitting the Finlay roll and moonsault combo for 2. Ishii fought back with a powerslam, but the ran into a RAMA by Omega. Omega teases the one winged angel, but Ishii will have none of that and hits a dragon suplex. Omega tags out to Fale as Ishii tags on Okada. He fires up and slams Fale, and then looks for the tombstone, but Fale fights him off. The big Fale splash follows for 2; Okada counters the grenade, but Fale counters the rainmaker into a Samoan drop. Owens and Omega work over Okada in the corner, Fale joins in and that allows Owens to cover for 2. Owens teases the package piledriver; Okada escapes and hits the dropkick. Fale’s back and looks for the tombstone but Ishii makes the save and turns Omega inside out with the lariat. Okada then tombstones Owens, hits the rainmaker and good night sweet prince. CHAOS defeated Bullet Club @ 13:12 via pin

IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship Match: Champion Hiromu Takahashi vs. Ricochet: Ricochet attacks right away, hitting a suicide dive and then a Fosbury flop, the 450 followed for a near fall that the crowd bought, a benefit of Takahashi’s quick squash over KUSHIDA. Takahashi had enough of that shit, and planted Ricochet with a German and then speared him to the floor; Takahashi then hit the dropkick from the apron, leading to a near fall. Takahashi then hit the dragon screw leg whip and attacked the knee of Ricochet, trying to slow his challenger. Ricochet then jacked his jaw with some kicks, and then a shotgun dropkick. Ricochet then sent Takahashi to the corner, hit the 619 and followed with the springboard forearm. Head kick by Ricochet, but Takahashi cut off the springboard and went for the sunset bomb to the floor, but Ricochet countered into a RANA. Back in and Ricochet heads up to, cut off and Takahashi follows him up top but Ricochet fights him off, hitting a wheelbarrow slam off the ropes for a near fall. They battle to the apron, and Takahashi scores with the DVD and then dives at Ricochet, caught and Ricochet hits a northern lights suplex into a dead lift suplex on the floor. They beat the count back in, and started to slap the shit out of each other and then traded chops. Forearms by Ricochet, they pick up the pace with Ricochet hitting an enziguri but Takahashi then hitting rolling Germans for the near fall. Ricochet avoids the DVD to the corner and hits a sit out Michinoku driver for the near fall. Ricochet up top, but the shooting star press eats knees. Ricochet then runs into an overhead belly to belly into the corner, and the time bomb follows for a near fall. Takahashi then hits the DVD to the corner, but Ricochet counters the time bomb and lays in a series of kicks, and follows with the benadryller for a great near fall. Ricochet up top, but the 630 misses! Takahashi hits a destroyer for 2, and then hits another DVD to the corner. The time bomb follows and he retains. Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. EVIL: Tanahashi is fired up and attacks as EVIL makes his entrance, hitting a plancha and then working over EVIL on the floor. Back in the ring and Tanahashi beats on EVIL and they trade forearm strikes until EVIL suns him off the ropes and sends him to the floor, clotheslining him over the barricade. EVIL then wraps a chair around Tanahashi’s head and grabs another chair and takes a baseball swing, knocking the chair off of Tanahashi’s head. Back in the ring and EVIL looks to ground Tanahashi, hitting a version of the curb stomp. Tanahashi looks to fire up, but EVIL cuts him off and hits the running senton for 2. He then works a cravat, but Tanahashi fights out and goes to the ropes, but EVIL pulls him off and then lays in clotheslines in the corner. EVIL takes out the knee, heads up top and hits the lariat for 2. EVIL then rakes the eyes, but Tanahashi is willing to play dirty and does the same. He then head scissors EVIL to the floor. Tanahashi up top and hits the high fly flow press to the floor. Back in and after a fight, EVIL hits a suplex or a double down. They trade forearm strikes, and then after misdirection, EVIL hits the big lariat. Tanahashi blocks the superkick, but EVIL has no time for that and takes him down, working the neck crank. Tanahashi struggles, but makes the ropes and fights off the STO. Sling blade follows, and then Tanahashi up top and EVIL grabs the ref to block the high fly flow; ref bump and BUSHI & EVIL arrive. They work over Tanahashi, but BUSHI accidentally MISTS SANADA. Taguchi arrives and makes the save, and brawls to the back with BUSHI & SANADA. Tanahashi hits a bridging German for about 10, but the ref is still down. High fly flow eats knees, and then a German by EVIL. He his darkness falls for the near fall. Tanahashi fights off the STO, hits a hip toss and then heads up top for the high cross; back up top and hits the high fly flow for the win. Hiroshi Tanahashi defeated EVIL @ 16:30 via pin

IWGP Intercontinental Championship: Champion Tetsuya Naito vs. Juice Robinson: This is a huge chance for Robinson here tonight, as this is easily the biggest match of his career, and against one of New Japan’s top guys. Robinson is ready o get to work, but Naito is all, “tranquilo brah.” Naito spits at Robinson, sends him to the floor and then gives us the traquilo pose before bailing to the floor. Naito returns to the ring, Robinson works him over with hip tosses and a senton before tossing him to the floor. Robinson followed, and they brawled on the floor, with Robinson slamming Naito the barricades. Naito quickly fought back, attacking the leg of Robinson and slamming it in the barricade. Robinson struggled to his feet as they teased a countout. Back in and Naito continued his assault on the knee with a mix of submissions and punishing offense. Naito has tunnel vision here, completely focused on destroying the knee, and now working a figure four. Robinson made the ropes, but Naito was very slow to break. Naito’s knee attacks are so varied that his work doesn’t get boring. Robinson managed to counter an attack into a gut buster, but it did more harm than good as he couldn’t follow up because he hurt his own knee. They traded strikes, but Naito then ran into a spinebuster; but Robinson then missed the cannonball. Naito followed with the corner dropkick combo, set Robinson up top, he slips out, avoids the DDT and hits a spin kick. Robinson up top slowly, struggling due to the knee but manages to hit the high cross. Naito rolls to the floor, and Robinson hits a lariat off the apron. Back in, and Naito cuts off Robinson with a dropkick to the knee. They battle on the apron; Naito attacks the knee and teases a German to the floor. Robinson fights that off, and then fucking kills Naito with a spinebuster on the apron.

He then shoots Naito to the barricade and follows with a cannonball (at a full run, bad play after the great selling so far). Back in and Naito hits the tornado DDT for the double down. They struggle to their feet, trade strikes and Naito goes back to the knee, relentlessly attacking and locking in the modified knee bar. Great fight spot from Robinson, who makes the ropes. They work up top, Naito looks for a RANA but Robinson counters with the second rope powerbomb; he then hits another back in the ring for the near fall pulp friction countered, rolling kick by Naito but Robinson turns him inside out with a lariat for 2. Naito escapes pulp friction and counters into destino and both men are down. Naito spits at Robinson, and then hits destino but JUICE KICKS OUT! Naito pulls him up buthe hair, looks for destino, countered and Robinson gets a roll up for 2. Pulp friction countered, and Naito gets a roll up for 2. Robinson then jacks Naito with a left hook. Pulp friction countered into destino and Naito retains in a hard fought battle. Champion Tetsuya Naito defeated Juice Robinson @ 26:55 via pin
