Welcome to 411’s WWE TLC 2016 Report. We are LIVE in beautiful Dallas, Texas.

Tonight’s Kickoff Show panel is Renee Young, Booker T, Peter Rosenberg, and Daniel Bryan. They announce that tonight’s Kickoff Show match will be Apollo Crews, The Hype Bros, & American Alpha vs. Curt Hawkins, The Ascension, & The Vaudevillains.

We move on to a preview of Heath Slater & Rhyno vs. Bray Wyatt & Randy Orton for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship. Booker T and Daniel Bryan pick Bray Wyatt & Randy Orton, but Peter Rosenberg picks Heath Slater & Rhyno. Next up is a preview of Nikki Bella vs. Carmella in a No Disqualification Match. Booker T picks Carmella, but Peter Rosenberg and Daniel Bryan pick Nikki Bella.

We get a video package highlighting the history of the Intercontinental Championship and previewing tonight’s ladder match between The Miz and Dolph Ziggler. Booker T picks The Miz, but Peter Rosenberg and Daniel Bryan pick Dolph Ziggler. Next up is a video package for Kalisto vs. Baron Corbin in a Chairs Match followed by a video package for Becky Lynch vs. Alexa Bliss in a Tables Match for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.


Kickoff Show Match
Apollo Crews, The Hype Bros, & American Alpha vs. Curt Hawkins, The Ascension, & The Vaudevillains

Apollo Crews and Curt Hawkins start the match, and Crews hits a gorgeous drop kick to start. Zack Ryder gets the tag, and we’ve got an Edge Heads face-off in the middle of the ring. Viktor gets the tag from Hawkins but eats a hangman’s neck breaker from Ryder. Mojo Rawley gets the tag from Ryder and hits Viktor with Hammer Time. Konnor gets the tag from Viktor, works over Rawley, and makes the quick tag to Aiden English. Rawley drops English and makes the tag to Jason Jordan. Jordan holds English and makes the quick tag to Chad Gable. American Alpha clean house, which leads to chaos in the ring. All ten men brawl in the middle of the ring before the faces dump the heels to the outside as we head to a commercial. We return from the break with Chad Gable and Curt Hawkins as the legal men. Hawkins makes the tag to Viktor, and Viktor whips Gable to the corner. Viktor makes the quick tag to Konnor, and Konnor takes Gable down to the mat with a rear chin lock. Gable fights back to his feet and goes for a sunset flip, but Konnor counters with a boot to the spine. Konnor makes the tag back to Viktor, who traps Gable in the corner and makes the quick tag to English. English continues to work over Gable and makes the quick tag to Gotch. Gotch pounds on Gable and make the quick tag to Viktor. Viktor takes Gable down to the mat with a rear chin lock, but Gable tries to crawl to his corner to make the tag. Gable gets close to making the tag, but the Vaudevillains pulls all of Gable’s teammates off the ring apron. Viktor levels Gable with a side kick, but Jordan breaks up the pin to save the match. English gets the tag from Viktor, but Gable rolls him up for a two count. English catapults Gable into the corner and inadvertently knocks Hawkins off the apron. Gable FINALLY makes the hot tag to Jordan, and Jordan cleans house. Jordan hits Viktor with the Angle Slam but only gets a two count. We get rapid-fire finishers ending with Gable and Gotch as the legal men. American Alpha hit Gotch with Grand Amplitude, and that’s enough for Gable to get the three count.

Match Result: Chad Gable defeats Simon Gotch after Grand Amplitude.

The Kickoff Show finishes up with a video package for AJ Styles vs. Dean Ambrose in a TLC Match for the WWE World Championship. Booker T and Peter Rosenberg both pick AJ Styles to win the match and retain the title.


SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match
Heath Slater & Rhyno (Champions) vs. Bray Wyatt & Randy Orton w/ Luke Harper

Rhyno and Wyatt start the match, and Wyatt quickly takes control. Wyatt whips Rhyno to the ropes, but Rhyno levels Wyatt with a clothesline on the rebound. Wyatt makes the tag to Orton, but Rhyno levels Orton with a shoulder tackle. Rhyno makes the tag to Slater, and Slater comes off the top with a double ax handle to Orton’s shoulder. Slater hits a leg lariat followed by a clothesline in the corner, but Orton dumps Slater to the outside to buy himself some time. Slater heads back into the ring but eats a stomp from Oton. Wyatt gets the tag from Orton and gets two count. Wyatt blocks the tag to Rhyno and hit Slater with a corner clothesline of his own. Wyatt dumps Slater to the outside before making the tag back to Orton. Orton pulls Slater back into onto the ring apron and goes for his patented rope-assisted DDT, but Slater blocks. Slater slingshots back into the ring, but Orton catches him in mid-air with a power slam. Orton makes the tag to Wyatt, but Wyatt telegraphs a back body drop and eats a kick to the chest. Slater finally makes the tag to Rhyno, and Rhyno hits Wyatt with a second rope diving shoulder tackle. Wyatt makes the tag to Orton, but Orton heads to the outside. Rhyno tries to gore Orton on the outside, but Harper pushes Orton out of the way and takes the spear for him. Rhyno heads back into the ring and stares at Wyatt’s exorcist walk. That distraction gives Orton all the time he needs to hit Rhyno with the RKO, and that’s enough for the three count.

Match Result: Randy Orton defeats Rhyno with the RKO.

Nikki Bella vs. Carmella

The action spills to the outside to start, and Carmella slams Nikki into the ring apron. Nikki returns the favor and goes for a powerbomb off the apron, but Carmella counters into a head scissors takedown into the stairs. Nikki slams her left leg into the stairs, and that’s definitely limiting her mobility. The action returns to the ring, and Carmella suplexes Nikki, making sur that her legs land on the ropes. Carmella again suplexes Nikki’s legs onto the ropes and gets a one count. Carmella ties up Nikki in the tree of woe and grabs a kendo stick from under the ring. Carmella lands two kendo stick shots to the injured leg, and it’s been all Carmella to this point. Nikki crumbles to the mat, and Carmella lands a volley of kendo stick shots to the body and legs. Carmella locks in the Code of Silence, but Nikki lands a kendo stick shot of her own to break the hold. Nikki and Carmella head out of the ring, and Nikki lands a spinning back kick off the barricade. Carmella heads back into the ring, but Nikki grabs a fire extinguisher and douses Carmella in the middle of the ring. Nikki hits the Rack Attack 2.0 and gets the three count.

Match Result: Nikki Bella defeats Carmella with the Rack Attack 2.0.

Ladder Match for the Intercontinental Championship
The Miz (Champion) w/ Maryse vs. Dolph Ziggler

Ziggler ducks a punch to start and goes for a super kick, but Miz ducks as well. Miz catapults Ziggler to the outside, and Ziggler immediately grabs a ladder from under the ring. Miz heads to the outside and tries to slam Ziggler’s head into one of the ladders at ringside, but Ziggler blocks. Ziggler tries to slam Miz’ head into one of the ladders on the ramp, but Miz blocks. Ziggler goes for a leaping DDT on the ramp, but Miz counters into a big boot. Ziggler whips Miz into a ladder on the ramp and carries a ladder toward the ring, but Miz levels Ziggler from behind. Miz rams the ladder into Ziggler’s gut, but Ziggler fights back with a clothesline. Ziggler tries to sandwich Miz’ head in the ladder, but Miz fights out and catches Ziggler with a drop toe hold into the ladder. Miz tries to drag a ladder into the ring, but Ziggler slams it into Miz’ face, but Miz regains his composure and slams the ladder into Ziggler’s face. Miz and Ziggler fight for a ladder, and Ziggler uses it to pull Miz shoulder-first into the ring post. Ziggler props up a ladder against the ring apron and Miz tries to powerbomb him into it, but Ziggler counters into a DDT onto the ladder. Ziggler finally manages to slide a ladder into the ring and starts to set it up, but Miz catches him with a drop kick from behind. Miz uses the ladder to trap Ziggler in the corner and drop kicks it into Ziggler’s chest. Miz stands on the ladder as it bridges two ropes, but Ziggler kicks him off the ladder, and Miz slams his head into the ladder on the way down. Ziggler follows up with a diving elbow drop and then slams Miz’ head into the ladder for a second time. Ziggler sets up a second ladder in the middle of the ring and climbs, but Miz pulls him back down to the mat. Ziggler levels Miz with a clothesline and dumps him to the outside. Ziggler climbs again, but Miz charge back into the ring and tips the ladder. Miz drives a ladder into Ziggler in the corner and then hits a running drop kick into the ladder and Ziggler. Miz goes back to the well, but Ziggler tosses the ladder into Miz’ face to counter. Ziggler sets up a ladder and climbs, but Miz climbs the other side. Ziggler and Miz brawl at the top of the ladder, and Ziggler gets the best of the exchange. Miz falls to the mat, but he still manages to slam one of Ziggler’s legs into the ladder. Miz wrenches Ziggler’s leg around the ladder and then tips it to send Ziggler back down to the mat. Miz continues to use the ladder to work over Ziggler’s injured leg. Miz slams Ziggler’s knee into the ladder and then sandwiches the leg in the ladder. Miz locks in a Figure Four around the bottom rung of the ladder, and damn, that looks nasty. Miz goes for a Skull Crushing Finale onto the ladder, but Ziggler tries to counter into a super kick, but he leg gives out. Miz hits the Skull Crushing Finale, but Ziggler doesn’t really hit the ladder. Miz climbs and grabs the belt, but Ziggler pulls the ladder out from under him. Ziggler uses the ladder to knock Miz off the belt, and Miz looks to have injured his leg on the landing. Miz rolls to the outside as Ziggler climbs a ladder in the middle of the ring. Miz hobbles back into the ring and pulls Ziggler off the ladder into a slingshot powerbomb onto the ladder in the corner. Miz sets up two ladders next to each other in the middle of the ring. Miz slowly climbs a ladder as Ziggler climbs the other ladder. Ziggler and Miz slug it out at the top of the ladders. Ziggler head butts Miz off the ladder, but Miz scurries back up the ladder and low blows Ziggler. Ziggler falls to the mat, and Miz grabs the belt to win the match.

Match Result: The Miz retrieves the belt and wins the match.

Chairs Match
Kalisto vs. Baron Corbin

Kalisto brings several chairs into the ring as Corbin is making his way down the ramp. Kalisto tries to take the fight to Corbin to start, but Corbin uses his size and strength to take control. Corbin goes for a powerbomb onto a chair, but Kalisto floats over and kicks Corbin into the chair. Kalisto lands a drop kick to the chest and sends Corbin out of the ring. Kalisto leaps from a chair onto the top rope and springboards onto Corbin in the outside. Corbin regains control on the outside and repeatedly bounces Kalisto between the ring apron and the barricade. Corbin whips Kalisto into several chairs at ringside before rolling him back into the ring. Corbin whips Kalisto into the corner and then wedges a chair in the opposite corner. Corbin powerbombs Kalisto in the middle of the ring before bringing even more chairs into the ring. Corbin sets up six chairs in the middle of the ring but eats a drop toe hold from Kalisto that sends him into the chair in the corner. Kalisto drives a chair into Corbin’s gut and hits a low hurricanrana into one of the chairs in the middle of the ring. Kalisto heads up top and hits a diving seated senton that drives Corbin backward through all six chairs. Gotta admit, that was pretty sweet. Corbin heads to the outside to buy himself some time. Kalisto goes for a suicide dive, but Corbin catches him in mid-air and counters into a Deep Six on the outside. Corbin rolls Kalisto back into the ring and goes for the cover, but Kalisto kicks out at two. Corbin makes a pile of chairs in the center of the ring as Kalisto rolls to the outside. Corbin heads to the outside and swings a chair at Kalisto, but Kalisto rolls out of the way. Corbin chases Kalisto around ringside, but Kalisto catches Corbin with a diving hurricanrana off the barricade. Kalisto launches a chair into Corbin’s face and then drop kicks him into the barricade. Corbin rolls back into the ring, but Kalisto catches him with a slingshot leg drop. Kalisto sets a chair on Corbin’s chest and hits a moonsault from the top onto the chair and Corbin for a two count. Kalisto lands a volley of chair shots to the back and then piles the chairs in the middle of the ring. Kalisto heads up top and dives at Corbin, but Corbin hits him with a chair shot to the face in mid-air. Corbin follows up with the End of Days onto the pile of chairs in the middle of the ring, and that’s enough for the three count.

Match Result: Baron Corbin defeats Kalisto with the End of Days onto a pile of chairs.

Tables Match for the SmackDown Women’s Championship
Becky Lynch (Champion) vs. Alexa Bliss

Becky takes down Alexa to start and immediately heads to the outside to grab a table. Alexa follows Becky to the outside, but Becky levels her with a clothesline and whips her into the barricade. Becky goes for a powerbomb through the announce table, but Alexa grabs the ring ropes and pulls herself onto the apron to counter. Becky follows Alexa back into the ring and hits a snap suplex. Becky grabs a table from under the ring and sets it up at ringside. Becky tries to suplex Alexa over the top rope and through the table, but Alexa lands on the apron. Becky heads up top, but Alexa bites her hand and pulls her back down to the mat. Alexa stands on Becky’s lower back and stomps on her head. Alexa grabs another table from under the ring and drives Becky face-first into the ring post. Alexa slides the second table into the ring before slamming Becky into the apron. Alexa rolls Becky back into the ring and stomps on her gut. Becky sets up the table near the corner and slams Becky’s head into the top turnbuckle. Becky goes to work with forearm shots, but Alexa beats Becky down to the mat. Alexa puts Becky on the table and heads up top, but Becky hops off the table and knocks the ropes to make Alexa lose her balance. Becky heads up top with Alexa and goes for a superplex through the table, but Alexa knocks her back down to the mat. Alexa sets up the table in the corner, but Becky lands a volley of European uppdercuts. Becky lands a back kick and goes for the Bex-plex through the table, but Alexa blocks. Alexa sets up the table in the middle of the ring, but Becky goes for a fireman’s carry slam through the table. Alexa flips the table to save the match and then DDT’s Becky onto the table on the mat. Alexa crawls across the flipped table, but Becky catches her with the Dis-Arm-Her through the legs of the table. Becky hits the pumphandle side slam and uses the table to bridge the bottom ropes in the corner. Becky sets Alexa on the table and heads to the top. Alexa kicks Becky up top, hops off the table, and flips Becky back down to the mat. Becky whips Alexa into the table in the corner, but it doesn’t break. Becky and Alexa brawl on the apron near the table at ringside. Becky kicks Alexa off the apron, but Alexa slides under Becky and powerbombs her through the table at ringside for the win.

Match Result: Alexa Bliss defeats Becky Lynch with a powerbomb off the apron through a table.

TLC Match for the WWE World Championship
AJ Styles (Champion) vs. Dean Ambrose

Ambrose takes down Styles to start and stomps a mud hole in him in the corner. Ambrose chops Styles and follows up with a big back body drop. Ambrose rolls out of the ring and tosses and chair and a ladder into the ring. Styles grabs the chair and knocks the ladder away from Ambrose. Styles sets up the ladder in the middle of the ring and starts to climb, but Ambrose pulls him back down to the mat. Ambrose clotheslines Styles to the outside and drags him up the ramp. Ambrose tosses Styles across a table on the ramp and slams his head onto a chair. Ambrose delivers a snap suplex onto the ramp before putting Styles onto a table next to the stage. Ambrose climbs a massive ladder on the stage, but Styles rolls of the table. Ambrose chases Styles into the crowd and puts a garbage can over his head. Ambrose beats Styles through the crowd and back to ringside. Ambrose dives off the barricade and flies toward Styles, but Styles catches him with a drop kick in mid-air. Styles hits a leaping clothesline against the barricade, but Ambrose slides out of the way when Styles goes for it again. Ambrose crotches Styles on the barricade and slams a chair into his face. Ambrose heads back into the ring and climbs the ladder, but Styles charges after him and tips the ladder. Styles slams the ladder into Ambrose and then scoop slams him onto it. Styles connects with a knee drop onto Ambrose on the ladder, but Ambrose catapults Styles into a ladder propped up against the top rope. Styles falls to the outside, and Ambrose launches the ladder onto him. Ambrose slides a table into the ring, but Styles catches him with a chair shot from behind. Styles sets up a the chair and sidewalk slams Ambrose through it. Styles slugs Ambrose and then kicks him in the face. Styles sets up four chairs in the middle of the ring and tries to suplex Ambrose onto them, but Ambrose counters into a modified powerbomb through all four chairs. Ambrose scoop slams Styles, heads up top with a chair, and hits a chair-assisted diving elbow drop from the top. Ambrose props up a table in the corner, but Styles regains control and suplexes Ambrose through the table. There’s a pretty sizable rip in the seat of Styles’ trunks, and if it gets any bigger, this show might lose its PG rating. Ambrose takes Styles up top near two tables at ringside, but Styles knocks him back down to the mat. Ambrose back body drops Styles to the outside and hits a suicide dive into the announce table. Ambrose preps the announce tables for carnage and sets Styles on one of them. Styles sets up a ladder ON TOP of another announce table and climbs it. AMBROSE HITS A DIVING ELBOW DROP FROM THE TOP OF THE LADDER ON ONE ANNOUNCE TABLE THROUGH THE NEXT ANNOUNCE TABLE!!! Ambrose brings a ladder into the ring and climbs, but Styles hits the Phenomenal Forearm to knock Ambrose off the ladder. Ambrose climbs one side of the ladder as Styles climbs the other side. Ambrose and styles slug it out at the top of the ladder, and they knock each other back down to the mat. Ambrose goes for Dirty Deeds, but Styles tries to counter into the Styles Clash, but Ambrose counters and spins Styles into the ladder. Ambrose climbs the ladder, but Styles pulls him off and goes for a powerbomb, but Ambrose counters into a hurricanrana that sends Styles out of the ring. Styles hits a moonsault off the apron into a reverse DDT. Styles pulls a table down the ramp and sets it at ringside. Styles puts Ambrose on the table and heads back into the ring. STYLES HITS A SPRINGBOARD 450 SPLASH OUT OF THE RING AND THROUGH THE TABLE!!! Styles heads into the ring and climbs the ladder, BUT HERE COMES JAMES ELLSWORTH! Styles levels Ellsworth at ringside and sets up for a Styles Clash off the stairs, but Ambrose catches Styles with a clothesline. Ambrose sets up a ladder in the ring and climbs, but Styles crawls back into the ring and climbs the other side. Ambrose knocks Styles off the ladder and out of the ring… BUT ELLSWORTH TIPS THE LADDER AND SENDS AMBROSE THROUGH TWO TABLES AT RINGSIDE!!! Styles crawls back into the ring and climbs the ladder as Ellsworth cheers him on from ringside. Styles retrieves the belt and wins the match.

Match Result: AJ Styles retrieves the belt and wins the match.
