NXT Takeover: WarGames Drew McIntyre Andrade Cien Almas

Keep Refreshing For The Latest Results

It’s not relevant to the Kickoff Show, but the Network live stream aired the old Happy Thanksgiving Survivor Series promos and they’re golden. The panel is Charly Caruso, Booker T and Sam Roberts. They talk about Booker’s War Games appearance in 1993 (in Houston), before hyping Survivor Series. The first TakeOver match discussed it Almas/McIntyre, which gets a video package. The Women’s Title match gets highlighted next. The Iconic Duo get interviewed and Billie takes over to ask Peyton for her thoughts on the biggest night of her career. Peyton’s confident and stoked. They play word association. Ember Moon: Athletic, not iconic. Nikki Cross: Psychotic, not iconic. Kairi Sane: Pirate. Not Iconic. Peyton Royce: One half of the most iconic duo in NXT and the new Women’s Champion. Mauro Ranallo, Nigel McGuinness and Percy Watson run down the War Games rules. It has a “no escape” rule, where if you exit the cage, your team forfeits. War Games gets the next video package.

TakeOver starts with a cool video package showing highlights of the three teams in the main event, while war is discussed. The other matches on the card get featured as well.
