CM Punk Jokes About His Own Firing In Response To Eric Bischoff’s WWE Exit
As we reported yesterday, Eric Bischoff is no longer the executive director of Smackdown and has left the WWE. He has been replaced by Bruce Prichard. In a post on Twitter, the official account for his podcast 83 Weeks showed a shirt in the store that reads “Fired”, with a FedEx style font, a jab at the wrestlers who were fired by Bischoff via FedEx. CM Punk decided to make a joke about his own firing in response, asking Bischoff if he was fired on his wedding day. He wrote:
This is a completely random tweet and unrelated to anything in the news… but there are "Fired" T-shirts available at https://t.co/6FXzHEB7Zt pic.twitter.com/NhenOAAPeN

Wedding day or nah?

Punk walked out of WWE in January of 2014 but wasn’t fired until June, after the WWE sent him his termination papers on his wedding day.
