Former UFC Champ Cain Velasquez Teaming Up With Cody Rhodes for In-Ring Debut at AAA TripleMania XXVII, Fyter Fest Rematch Announced for Card
– Former UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez is set to make his pro wrestling in-ring debut on Saturday, August 3 at AAA TripleMania XXVII in Mexico City, Mexico. AEW and AAA have confirmed that Cain Velasquez will be teaming up with Cody Rhodes and Psycho Clown in a six-man tag team match against Texano Jr., Taurus, and a Mystery partner. Also set for the card is a rematch from AEW Fyter fest. The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) and Kenny Omega will take on AAA tag team champions The Lucha Bros. (Rey Fenix and Pentagon Jr.) and The Laredo Kid.
AAA TripleMania XXVII is set for Saturday, August 3. Here’s the updated lineup:
