– There was a lot of talk/concern backstage about the poor attendance at WWE Smackdown last night. There was also a lot of discussion about Jinder Mahal’s promo, where he referred to Shinsuke Nakamura as “Mr. Miyagi,” leading to the fans chanting “that’s too far.” WWE has not posted a Youtube highlight for that segment, perhaps because it has sparked some controversy on Twitter and other social media outlets, where some fans believed the segment was racist.

Last night’s WWE Smackdown women’s match was originally scheduled to be a triple threat match (Charlotte vs. Becky Lynch vs. Naomi). The decision was made late in the day to add Tamina to the match.
