Creative Plans ‘Up In The Air’ For Money in the Bank, Top Stars No Longer Advertised
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that creative plans are now said to be ‘up in the air’ for WWE Money in the Bank, especially for top WWE stars. As noted, WWE is moving the event from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas to the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
The original plan for the show was for Roman Reigns to defend the WWE Universal title against Riddle. The match could still happen, but it’s far from confirmed at this point. Meanwhile, it’s unknown if Brock Lesnar, who was originally set for the stadium event, will still appear now that it’s in an arena.
WWE recently changed their advertisements for the event with several top stars removed. The original poster, for Allegiant Stadium, had Reigns, Lesnar, Ronda Rousey, Bobby Lashley, Charlotte Flair, Drew McIntyre, Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch. The new poster for the MGM Grand has Cody Rhodes, Belair, McIntyre, Rhea Ripley, Riddle, The Miz and the Street Profits.
