– Follow all of my reviews at this link.

Kiera Hogan & Jordynne Grace vs. Su Yung & Allie: Yung and Grace attack Grace at the bell, but Grace cuts them off and tags in Hogan who runs wild with corner attacks. She and Grace work camel clutches. Yung cuts off Hogan with a cheap shot, allowing Allie to take control. Allie & Yung work quick tags, isolating Hogan in their corner. Allie hits a back stabber and that gets 2, and they follow with a sloppy double team… something. Hogan fires back, hot tag to Grace who runs wild. She and Hogan hit a doomsday high cross for 2. They isolate Yung, but Allie hits a superkick. Hogan cuts her off and hits the fisherman’s neck breaker on Yung for the win. Kiera Hogan & Jordynne Grace defeated Su Yung & Allie @ 6:00 via pin [**¾] This was a pretty good match with a nice pace throughout.

We go around the ring with Sami Callihan. Josh tries to be friendly with Sami, who says he hates him. Sami then licks Don’s headset and talks about loving to hit people with bats. Sami admits that he’s down $300 after gambling in Vegas. Sami doesn’t answer text messages, and has over 200 unanswered texts. Jake is his best friend and they love annoying Dave.

Beer Money vs. Motor City Machine Guns: This was an overall great match between two teams that had tremendous chemistry. I wish that they would have skipped the disputed finish and restart and just did a finish, but still, great stuff overall. The Motor City Machine Guns defeated Beer Money @ 15:15 via pin [****]

Johnny Impact & Cage vs. Moose & Killer Kross: Cage & Impact start off working well together and even using some fun double team moves. We’ll see how long they stay on the same page. Cage & Impact were in complete control until Impact “got injured,” grabbing at his neck. Cage tagged in, fighting on his own as Impact laid in the ring. Moose dumped Cage, allowing Kross to post him. That busted Cage open, and the heels worked him over as Impact was being stretchered out. Cage and Moose battled back and forth and worked into a double down. Taya arrived to check on Impact, Moose speared Cage as Kross choked him out and the ref stopped it. Moose & Killer Kross defeated Johnny Impact & Cage @ 14:10 via ref stoppage [***] This was a good match overall, but I am far more interested in the angle they ran. Impact going down out of nowhere, seemingly faking an injury to cost Cage the match and get out of his promised title shot, is some sneaky subtle heel bullshit. I also love that they didn’t resolve it this week and saved that.

– End Scene.

– Thanks for reading.
