Xia Li vs. Karen Q: they bow and face off, going all Mortal Kombat here to begin. Karen slaps Li, and Li is pissed and backs her off with rapid-fire strikes. Yim is up, heads up top and Kay cuts her off, follows her up and Yim head butts her to the mat, and hits soul food off the ropes and advances. Mia Yim defeated Allysin Kay @ 12:13 via pin [***½] This was a very good match as you would expect from two women who know each other well and have a ton of experience working TV matches. This was one of the best matches of the tournament so far.
