– Follow all of my reviews at this link.

– I did a column, “Where Are They Now, The Cruiserweight Classic Finals Performers” which you can check out at this link.

– You can check out my top 36 matches of SEPTEMBER list at this link.

– MJF met with Salina del la Renta in Puerto Rico, and MJF inquires about her having bounty hunters that can help him with Joey Janela. Low Ki says they may have a solution for him.

Ricky Martinez vs. Jake St Patrick: Salina del la Renta is at ringside. Martinez hits a pop up knee strike right away and then follows with a skull fucker and covers for 2. Martinez follows with chops, but Patrick fires back and gets cut off with a decapitating lariat. Martinez up top and the MX finishes it. Ricky Martinez defeated Jake St Patrick @ 2:15 via pin [NR] A fun squash for Martinez.

– In two weeks, it’s Shane Strickland vs. Tom Lawlor. Lawlor cuts a promo from his training camp, and says he will prove that he’s the best and the franchise of MLW.

Simon Gotch vs. Gangrel: The prize is up to $2000. Gotch attacks and runs wild until Gangrel bites him and hits a slam. The elbow drop follows for 2. Gotch then counters back, puts on a choke, but Gangrel bites him again for the DQ. Simon Gotch defeated Gangrel @ 1:10 via DQ [NR] It’s 2018 and Gotch just can’t beat Gangrel? Bad booking of a nothing match here.

– ACH is interviewed about his match with Davey Boy Smith Jr. ACH is insulted that MLW is booking thugs like the Hart Foundation, and wants revenge.

– On October 26th, Sami Callihan vs. Jimmy Havoc in a Spin The Wheel Make The Deal match airs. Sami promises the most violent match in MLW history.

– They hype MLW’s debut in Chicago. Rush debuts, Low Ki defends against Shane Strickland, and more.

Davey Boy Smith Jr. vs. ACH: ACH & Rich Swann has been feuding with the Hart Foundation, and the Hart Foundation recently injured Swann. ACH attacks at the bell, lays in strikes and kicks until Smith hits a German. He takes ACH up top, lays in strikes, and then follows him up. ACH fights him off, and ACH then gets a cradle for 2. He follows with a flurry of kicks and a German for 2. ACH heads up top and misses the frog splash. Smith hits the running powerslam and that’s that. Davey Boy Smith Jr. defeated ACH @ 2:30 via pin [NR] This was a good squash for Smith, but made ACH look like complete job guy.

– Konnan is interviewed about tonight’s main event and promises blood and violence. Salina de la Renta cuts him off and thanks Konnan for offering up Pentagon as a sacrifice for LA Park.

LA Park vs. Pentagon: This is part of the war between Salina de la Renta and Konnan, as Konnan took Fenix & Pentagon from her. Last week, Salina got one up on Konnan when Low Ki defeated Fenix. This is the next part of the feud. No fucking around as they brawl at the bell and Park attacks with a trashcan. Park starts ripping open Pentagon’s mask, almost ripping the entire top off. Park then follows with a chair shot to the head. Post break, and Park has a chair and is trying to hang Pentagon on the light rigging. Back in and Park whips on Pentagon with his belt. Park now chokes him out in the ropes, and lays in chops. Pentagon fights back, hits a RANA and then follows with a tope that put Park through a table! Pentagon now follows with chair shots, and he rips at Park’s mask. Back in and Pentagon now whips Park with Park‘s belt. The double stomp off the ropes follows for 2. Pentagon throws a trashcan at Park, talks all kinds of shit, but Park cuts him off with a clothesline for 2. They work up top; Pentagon slips out and hits a superkick. Park into the tree of WHO and Pentagon hits the double stomp for 2. Park now hits a powerslam and running senton for 2. Park follows with a spin kick and suicide dive. Back in and Park hits a clothesline, and hits a final cut variation for 2. Pentagon fires up and hits sling blades, covering for 2. Pentagon puts a trashcan over Park’s head and uses some prop to hit it and ten does the Park strut. Park gets pissed and spears him for 2. They brawl into the crowd; Park gets a table, and tosses it in the ring. Pentagon hits a backstabber, and that gets 2. Pentagon sets up the table, and takes Park up top and hits him with trashcan shots. Pentagon climbs onto the table and park spears him off the ropes and through the table; no idea what Pentagon was thinking there. Pentagon throws a fireball but the ref got in the way. Pentagon covers for 2 and then beats on the ref. Low blow by Park and the ref fast counts Pentagon and Park wins. LA Park defeated Pentagon @ 16:45 via pin [***] This was an overall good and at times fun main event. Park is obviously older, slower, and bigger than he used to be but he knows how to work a crowd and can do enough to make things entertaining. My main issue is that they were promising this violent and bloody a match, and we didn’t get that, we just got a good walk and brawl with a really flat finish. I didn’t expect a MOTY banger or anything, but it felt a bit disappointing. At leas they used it to set up a tag title match.

– Post match, LA Park cuts a promo and it’s in Spanish. He doesn’t sound happy. Salina says Park wants to face the Lucha Bros for the tag titles. Pentagon says this is his house, and accepts the challenge to face Park and Hijo De LA Park.

NEXT WEEK: Teddy Hart vs. Rich Swann, Brian Pillman Jr vs. Vandal Ortagun, & Jimmy Yuta vs. Hijo De LA Park.

– End scene.

– Thanks for reading.

The final score: review Not So Good
The 411
Last week’s episode of MLW TV was a really good and focused episode that built angles and delivered some very good and tremendously fun wrestling. This week’s episode of MLW Fusion was mostly squash match city, now don’t get me wrong, I am all for using squash matches, but we basically had three of them tonight and I only found one of them (the first) effective. It really didn’t build off of last week’s show that well, and while the main event was good and set up a potentially really good tag match, I found the show to be really lacking.
