– On commentary…

Yuji Nagata & Manabu Nakanishi vs. Ayato Yoshida & Shota Umino: Nagata and Yoshida to begin, and they trade strikes and kicks right away. Yoshida follows with a clothesline, but Nakanishi makes the save. he follows with chops on Yoshida, tags Nagata back in and he follows with kicks as the dads take their kids to work and show them how to properly kick ass. Nakanishi back in and double teams follow. Yoshida pulls a desperation guillotine and knee strike. Tag to Umino and he’s all fired up and throwing forearms. The back elbow and missile dropkick follows for 2. Nakanishi cuts him off, tags in Nagata but Yoshida is also back in and Nagata accidentally kicks Nakanishi. The lions run wild on Nagata, Umino locks on a triangle as Yoshida tries to choke out Nakanishi, but they roll to the ropes. Knee strike/German combo on Nagata follows for 2. Nagata grabs an arm bar, the eyes roll back, Umino maybe fucked here. Yoshida makes the save, Nagata slaps the hell out of Umino, Umino fires up but runs into the XPLODER but Umino kicks out. The Nagata lock follows, rack on Yoshida by Nakanishi, and Umino taps. Yuji Nagata & Manabu Nakanishi defeated Ayato Yoshida & Shota Umino @ 8:20 via submission [***] They fucking got me here, I really thought that the lions were getting the upset. They worked hard, the dads were game, and this was good.

Satoshi Kojima & Hiroyoshi Tenzan vs. Minoru Suzuki & Takashi Iizuka: Suzuki-gun, pre-bell attack, shitty sportsmanship, floor brawling and chairs. Back in and Kojima lays in machinegun chops, Suzuki no sells, so Kojima keeps throwing and then follows with a DDT. Iizuka sneaks in a chair shot on Kojima, allowing Suzuki to drag him into the crowd and kick his ass while Iizuka works over Tenzan. Back in the ring and Suzuki pummels Kojima with body shots. Iizuka has been freed, and starts biting. Loooooots of biting. Suzuki now lays in hard strikes on Kojima, but Kojima fights back and hits the kojicutter and tags in Tenzan. The big bull lays in Mongolian chops on Suzuki, follows with the suplex and covers for 2. They trade strikes, Tenzan hits head butts, but Suzuki cuts him off and tags in Iizuka. Double teams on Tenzan follows, Iizuka bites him and Kojima makes the save. Iizuka gets the iron fingers, gets cut off, and the Tencozy cutter is blocked, but they get it the second time. Tenzan up top and hits the moonsault and the dads win! Satoshi Kojima & Hiroyoshi Tenzan defeated Minoru Suzuki & Takashi Iizuka @ 9:20 via pin [**] This was ok, nice to see the dads win and Tenzan hit the moonsault (second time this tournament) to pop the crowd.

Toa Henare & Togi Makabe vs. Taichi & Zack Sabre Jr.: Suzuki-gun waits for the bell and then attacks. Henare and Makabe battle back, and Henare lays in chops until Sabre cuts him off with an ankle lock and drags him to the floor. Taichi works over Makabe with chair shots as Sabre wraps Henare’s leg in the barricade for more torture. Henare manages to beat the count and Sabre immediately locks on an STF and grounds him. Taichi tags in, and stomps on the ankle. They work over Henare in the corner, Sabre tags back in and kicks away at Henare. Henare fires back with chops and a desperation Samoan drop and Makabe tags in and runs wild with clotheslines. He pummels Sabre with rights, and the clothesline gets 2. Sabre counters the suplex and pulls an arm bar but Makabe makes the ropes. Makabe cuts off the kicks and hits a clothesline, but Sabre locks on the cobra twist. He takes out Henare, tags in Taichi, he rakes the eyes, but runs into a big lariat. Henare tags in and he hits strikes and a shoulder tackle. The head butt follows, and he hits a delayed suplex. Makabe is back in and they hit clotheslines on Taichi, Henare up top and the shoulder tackle connects. Makabe up top, Sabre cuts him off and drags him to the floor. Taichi fires back with kicks on Henare. The PK and buzz saw kick gets 2. The pants are off, Makabe makes the save, spear by Henare and that gets 2. Taichi cuts him off, grabs the mic stand, nails Henare and the last ride finishes it. Taichi & Zack Sabre Jr. defeated Toa Henare & Togi Makabe @ 11:40 via pin [***] This was good, with Henare being an absolutely great babyface here.

Trent & Chuckie vs. Juice Robinson & David Finlay: Finlay and Chuckie to begin. They work into some back and forth, and stand off. Trent and Juice tag in, they lock up and work to the ropes. Trent lays in chops and strikes, and then grounds the action. Juice fights back, gets a shoulder tackle and then clear the ring. Back in and Chuckie dropkicks Finlay as Trent tags back in. The flying knee strike connects and Trent covers for 2. Chuckie tags back in and we get a hug and double teams on Finlay. Chuckie grounds things, and then tags Trent back in. Finlay fights off the suplex, takes out Chuckie, but Trent hits the northern lights for 2. Finlay fires back on Chuckie, hits a Saito suplex, and Juice and Trent tag in. Juice runs wild with jabs and a DDT. Corner clotheslines follow, and Juice now hits the cannonball for 2. Finlay back in and Trent fights them off and hits a tornado DDT. Chuckie tags in and hits the knee strike and does the deal with a falcon arrow for 2 on Finlay. The stuff piledriver gets 2. Finlay battles back, Chuckie gets chairs and Trent argues with him. Back in and Chuckie uses the chair for the DQ. Juice Robinson & David Finlay defeated Best Friends @ 10:00 via DQ [***] This was a good match with a flat finish, but it played into the crazy Chuckie angle well.

– Chuckie snaps post match, and even piledrives the ref as a disappointed Trent watches on. Is Chuckie jay White’s mole in CHAOS?

Michael Elgin & Jeff Cobb vs. Hangman Page & Yujiro Takahashi: Page and Cobb battle right away in a preview of ROH Final Battle. After some back and forth, Yujiro tags in and Cobb looks for a suplex, page makes the save and they follow with double teams. Elgin cuts them off and he and Cobb now work stereo delayed suplexes. Page tags back in, but Cobb cuts him off with a fall away slam. Yujiro and Elgin tag in, Elgin lays in chops and an enziguri and superkick; the German gets 2. Elgin follows with clotheslines, a back elbow, but Yujiro cuts him off and Page tags in and Elgin crotches him and Elgin picks up both and slams them down. Cobb tags back in, hitting strikes and suplexes on both. The Angle slam and standing moonsault follows for 2. He and Elgin isolate Page, but Page fires back until he walks into a German. Yujiro takes Elgin to the floor as Page dumps Cobb. He follows with suicide dives on both. Dropkick on Elgin, and another suicide dive takes out Cobb & Elgin. The top rope moonsault then follows. Back in and Yujiro hits a DDT as Page follows with the running shooting star press for 2. Page back up top, Elgin takes out Yujiro and then superplexes Page. Yujiro rakes the eyes, and pimp juice follows, Cobb hits tour of the islands, but eats the buckshot lariat and rite of passage and Page pins Cobb. Hangman Page & Yujiro Takahashi defeated Michael Elgin & Jeff Cobb @ 11:20 via pin [***½] This was very good stuff, with everyone working hard, and Cobb & Page even got to get in some late sell for Final Battle with their interactions.

EVIL & SANADA vs. KES: SANADA and Archer to begin. It quickly breaks down, LIJ take control and dump Smith before double teaming Archer. Archer quickly fights back and hits the black hole slam as the action then spills to the floor. They brawl into the crowd, Archer kills a young lion, and back in, Archer works over SANADA with clotheslines. Smith tags in, hits a slam, and covers for 2. He grounds the action, but SANADA fires back and hits a dropkick. Archer in and stops the tag. The shoulder block follows, then corner elbows connect. He grounds things, but SANADA fights back, hits a RANA, and tags in EVIL. He runs wild on Archer, hits a shoulder tackle, and fisherman’s buster for 2. SANADA counters a powerbomb into a sunset flip and LIJ win and are in the finals. EVIL & SANADA defeated KES @ 13:15 via pin [***] It started slow, but picked up well with SANADA overcoming and surviving KES’ best stuff.

The Guerrillas of Destiny vs. Tomohiro Ishii & Toru Yano: Yano and Tonga to begin. Yano goes after buckle pad, gets it off, but GOD quickly take control and the action spills to the floor. Jado gets involved with the kendo, and they isolate Yano. Back in and Loa takes the heat on Yano. The slam and elbow drops follow and Loa covers for 2. He whips Yano to the exposed buckles, and Tonga tags in and does more of the same. Loa tags back in and GOD work quick tags but Yano manages to send Tonga to the exposed buckle. Ishii gets the tag, hits shoulder tackles, and follows with chops. Tonga lays in strikes, and after some misdirection, hits a dropkick. Ishii follows with forearm strikes, and the German follows. Tonga cuts him off with the Tongan twist and tags in Loa. Ishii quickly follows with a suplex, tags in Yano, and he rakes the eyes and they trade strikes. Yano hits a belly to belly, but gets sent to he exposed buckles and GOD follow with double teams. They now hit atop rope head butt and splash for 2 as Ishii makes the save, but he’s quickly damped. GOD isolates Yano, low blow, runs them together and the backslide gets 2. kendo shot by Jado, lariat by Loa and Yano kicks out again. GOD hits the superbomb and Yano is finally done. The Guerrillas of Destiny defeated Tomohiro Ishii & Toru Yano @ 14:00 via pin [***¼] This was a good and smartly laid out match, GOD winning was a lock, but they created a fun atmosphere and some good drama that I enjoyed.

– Post match, the Guerrillas and LIJ have a standoff and exchange some words, with both promising to win on Sunday. They brawl and GOD lays out SANADA with the magic killer.

– So Sunday, LIJ beat GOD, the Young Bucks make the challenge post match and we get a triple threat at WrestleKingdom 13.
