Kai is all fired up and Evans makes the save. Evans blind tags in, women’s right and Kai is done. Lacey Evans & Aliyah defeated Deonna Purrazzo & Dakota Kai @ 7:35 via pin [**½] This was a solid opening match, with the heels working well together and showing really good aggression.

– Velveteen Dream talks about stealing the show and beating Johnny Gargano.

– We get a Street Profits video. They aren’t done with the Mighty just yet.

– We get highlights from last week’s Cross vs. Belair match. Belair says Cross is crazy and took it to a new level. She’s undefeated and will take the fight to her.

Jaxson Ryker vs. Humberto Carrillo: Carrillo is formerly Ultimo Ninja. They lockup and Ryker tosses Carrrillo around. He slams him to the buckles and lays the boots to him. Ryker continues to just beat down his opponent. Carrillo battles back but springboards into a double axe handle. The slingshot powerbomb finishes it. Jaxson Ryker defeated Humberto Carrillo @ 2:15 via pin [NR] This was a good squash for Ryker.

– Candice LeRae is questioned about the Aleister Black attack She thinks Ciampa did it but Regal says he’s cleared. Regal asks if Gargano may have done it. She gives him a half ass alibi and is dismissed.

– We get a Keith Lee video package.

– Lars Sullivan will be in action next week; Otis Dozovich faces Tommaso Ciampa as well.

Champion vs. Champion Match: UK Champion Pete Dunne vs. NXT North American Champion Ricochet: Both titles are on the line here. We have a lively crowd here. They immediately work into back and forth and a stand off. They lock up and Ricochet looks to work the arm, but Dunne counters out and he grounds things and attacks the arm. Dunne continues to control, looking to rip off Ricochet’s arm. Ricochet counters out, takes Dunne down and starts working the knee. The modified death lock follows, but Dunne easily counters out and he works into a death lock. Dunne now transitions into a Romero special, Ricochet escapes, but Dunne maintains control. Ricochet finally escapes, but Dunne makes the ropes. Dunne then kills him with a huge forearm strike. Ricochet fires back, laying in strikes and chops; the head scissors and dropkick follows. He then connects with a suicide dive. Back in and Dunne cuts him off and kicks away at the arm with a PK. Dunne takes things back to the ground, and is right back to he arm, keeping his focus. Dunne starts attacking the fingers, and then stomps away at the arm. Dunne follows with more kicks, Ricochet tries to fire back, but Dunne slaps him. Ricochet finally cuts him off with a lariat. He follows with uppercuts and a 619, and the springboard uppercut scores for 2. Dunne counters a cradle shock but Ricochet escapes the x-plex and hits a running shooting star press for 2. Ricochet up top, jumps back down and Dunne catches him with a flying arm bar. Ricochet escapes, misses the standing moonsault, and Dunne stomps the shit out of Ricochet’s hand. Ricochet hits a desperation knee strike, springboards in and eat forearm; the x-plex follows for 2. Dunne looks for bitter end, countered and Dunne is sent to the floor. Ricochet fires up and misses the kick flip moonsault and Dunne hits an apron x-plex. Backing, Ricochet counters bitter end into the reverse RANA for a great near fall. Dunne goes back to the hand, stomps on it and follows with a sick lariat! Ricochet counters out off of a back handspring kick into a tornado DDT! Fucks sake this is great. Ricochet heads up top and Dunne is alive and follows him up. He attacks the hand; Ricochet tries to fight him off, and HITS THE SUPER RANA! The axe kick and flatliner follow but Dunne kicks out! Dunne now locks on a triangle, but Ricochet powers up and hits a powerbomb but Dunne grabs the hand and locks on a kimura. Ricochet keeps fighting, and powers Dunne into a dead lift brainbuster! Both men struggle to their feet, trading strikes, but Undisputed Era hits the ring to ruin the party UK Champion Pete Dunne vs. NXT North American Champion Ricochet went to a no contest @ 21:50 [****½] This was an absolutely excellent main event with high-level work that could have headlined a Takeover special. Ricochet playing Dunne’s game early on, trying to prove that he was more than a realy good flippy boy was a fun start, but one he regretted as Dunne took control with his torturous offense. Dunne’s heat segment was excellent as was Ricochet’s comeback. The work was excellent and had great sense of urgency throughout and the homestretch was simply amazing at times. These kids may make it in this business. But seriously, this was simply an excellent match and a true treat on a weekly TV show. While I can understand not being happy without a finish, it served a purpose in the build to War Games, and in no way did the crowd hate it. Make time for this one for sure.

– War Raiders make the save as the tease/build to War Games continues.

– End Scene.
