– Follow all of my reviews at this link.

– You can check out my top 49 matches of OCTOBER list at this link.

– We get highlights of latest week’s shit show.

The One Percent (Nelson & Isaacs) vs. The Slambinos: Isaacs lays in strikes and a stalling suplex on a Slambino and covers for 2. Nelson tags in, is cut off immediately, and the Slambinos work double teams. Isaacs trips up a Slambino and Nelson gets the cradle for the win. The One Percent defeated The Slambinos @ 2:20 via pin [NR] This was another under three-minute Ring Warriors tag special. It wasn’t bad while it lasted, but they give the teams no time to work, which makes it incredibly hard to care about or become invested in them.

– Post match, the Slambinos attack and the Prophecy joins in for a big brawl.

Shogun Jones vs. Damien Drake: They bow and Jones attacks and works over Drake. Jones sets him up top and dropkicks him to the floor. Jones suplexes him back in and covers for 2. Drake fires back, but Jones hits the slam to cut him off. The running frog splash gets 2. They trade strikes, Drake picks up the pace and hits a dropkick. The enziguri follows and Drake follows with the top rope flying forearm for 2. Drake counters the chokeslam, hits a superkick and knee strike. Drake up top and hits the spiral tap for the win. Damien Drake defeated Shogun Jones @ 4:03 via pin [**½] This was a perfectly solid professional wrestling match, with Drake being fun and showing some potential.

Martin Casaus vs. Wes Briscoe: Hammerstone is on commentary, looking for revenge on Casaus, who injured him a few weeks back. They lock up, Briscoe attacks the arm and Casaus makes the ropes. Briscoe back to the arm and grounds things. Briscoe now hits a shoulder tackle, and then a monkey flip. The corner clothesline follows, and then a hanging arm bar in the ropes. Casaus cuts him off and pummels him with strikes, and then chokes him out in the ropes. He follows with rights and grounds things. Briscoe fires back with clotheslines and a neck breaker. The knee strike and German suplex follow and that gets 2. They work into counters and Casaus hits a clothesline for 2. Curb stomp by Casaus and Briscoe rolls to the floor. Casaus follows with the tope. Hammerstone detracts Casaus, and Briscoe wipes them out with a dive. Back in and the DVD follows and Briscoe wins. Wes Briscoe defeated Martin Casaus @ 7:15 via pin [**¾] This was pretty good, had a good layout, and they worked hard and also continued the issues with Hammerstone.

– Post match, Hammerstone lays out both men.

Eli Drake & Jeff Cobb vs. Austin Aries & Killer Kross: Drake and Aries to begin. They lock up, Drake looks to work the power game, and they work into arm drags and then end in a stand off. Aries now attacks with strikes, but Drake cuts him off with a neck breaker as Aries powders. Post break, and Kross is in with Drake, Kross attacks with strikes, taking control with suplexes. He looks for an arm bar, Drake fights out and Kross follows with a suplex but Drake hits the neck breaker. Cobb tags in and lights up Kross with chops. The spinebuster and uppercuts connect, He misses the standing moonsault and Kross lays the boots to him. Kross follows with a suplex and that gets 2. The slam follows and Aries hits a senton atomico. He follows with knee strikes and ground and pound. Cobb fights for a tag, but Kross is in an cuts that off. Kross now lays the boots to Cobb, but Cobb fights off a choke and lays in chops as they trade. Cobb follows with a lariat and tags in drake. Aries in as well, they brawl, and Drake dumps Aries. Back in and Drake hits the pop up powerslam for 2. Aries counters the gravy train into a cradle and then last chancery. Drake makes the ropes. Aries grabs the title belt, heads up top and Drake crotches him and follows him up. Kross cuts him off with the Saito suplex. It breaks down and Aries hits the shotgun dropkick. The brainbuster is countered, gravy train by Drake and that’s that. Eli Drake & Jeff Cobb defeated Austin Aries & Killer Kross @ 11:59 via pin [***¼] This was actually a good and fun main event, with the babyfaces going over and teasing a possible Cobb vs. Drake rematch. Kross was ok, he has a good look, good character and good presence. But as far as wrestling goes, he leaves a lot to be desired. Thankfully, the others carried the load.

– End scene.

– Thanks for reading.

This week’s episode of Ring Warriors was a perfectly solid wrestling show and a vast improvement over last week’s dumpster fire.
