– Follow all of my reviews at this link.

– We get a video package showcasing Jay Lethal & KUSHIDA’s issues with the Addiction.

– Cody arrives to join commentary.

– TK O’Ryan cuts a pre-math promo, he’s returning to where he broke his leg and wonder’s where his parade is to welcome him back. he plans to take his issues out on Jonathan Gresham.

TK O’Ryan w/Matt Taven & Vinny Marseglia vs. Jonathan Gresham: I’ve only seen O’Ryan a handful of times as a single, he came in, joined the Kingdom, worked a ton of six-mans and then broke his leg. O’Ryan tries to bully around Gresham, using his size advantage. Gresham tries to grapple him to the mat, O’Ryan counters but Gresham uses his slick mat skills to counter O’Ryan and work back to the feet. O’Ryan then keeps tricking O’Ryan before hitting a dropkick. The Kingdom distracts Gresham, allowing O’Ryan to take control. Post break and O’Ryan is still in control, hitting a slam and knee drops. Gresham battles back with strikes and chops, but O’Ryan quickly cuts him off. Gresham again battles back, and beats down O’Ryan in the corner. Gresham heads up top and O’Ryan knocks him to the floor. Sabin & Shelley finally arrive to even the odds. The ref finally tosses Taven, Vinny and the Guns to the back. Gresham back in, O’Ryan shoves the ref and Gresham locks in an ankle lock, O’Ryan escapes and Gresham gets a crucifix for 2. Vinny pulls out the ref as Gresham had a cradle, more refs arrive but the Kingdom attacks Gresham and we get a DQ. Jonathan Gresham defeated TK O’Ryan @ 10:25 via DQ [*½] They did very little and then we got the DQ after 10-minutes, this was never about the match, instead, it was about setting up the Kingdom vs. the Guns. This was disappointing.

– We get a video package on the Jay Briscoe vs. Bully Ray feud.

– We get footage of Kenny King winning the TV title, and Mark Briscoe earning a tile shot last week.

– Cody takes the mic and says he will defend the ROH Title here tonight.

ROH Title Match: Champion Cody vs. Scorpio Sky: Sky kisses the ring and then rolls up Cody for 2. Cody cuts him off, heads to the ropes and Sky hits a RANA. Cody to the floor and Sly wipes him out with a tope. Back in they go and Sky covers for 2. Cody stuns Sky off the ropes and takes control back. He lays the boots to Sky, does some pushups and then follows with rights. Sky fights back, hitting a standing double stomp and a neck breaker for 2. Sky then gets a cradle for 2. Another follows for another 2, but Cody rolls into the LeBell lock. Cody then mocks the YES chants, and then works the leg of Sky. Cody sends Sky to the buckles and flips off the crowd. Sky then Germans him to he buckles, but Cody uses the ref as a shield, rakes the eyes and locks in the American nightmare and Sky taps. Champion Cody defeated Scorpio Sky @ 4:41 via submission [**] This was solid for the rime given, and Sky got in a lot. There have been rumors that ROH may bring him in more often.

Time for Coleman’s Pulpit with Kenny King. Coleman was happy King finally won the title, and both put over KUSHIDA, who previously held the title. King proclaims again that he will be a fighting champion, and Coleman asks if ROH believes in King or if they are just playing off of him being on The Bachelorette. Coleman suggests that King may be a one hit wonder that ROH is trying to get the most out of. Well that was a whole lot of nothing.

– Kaz cuts a pre-match promo “on the stupid marks in the crowd.” They then cut to commercial. Post break, Daniels is rambling on about people loving “this company,” and says he made ROH a reality out of a fantasy.

Jay Lethal & KUSHIDA vs. the Addiction (Daniels & Kazarian): Kaz and KUSHIDA in to begin. The Addiction then stalls, and teases taking a countout since the fans want to see the match. KUSHIDA says fuck that and hits a tope and Jay hits a dive. They toss the addiction back in the ring and work them over, and take time to celebrate. Post break and KUSHIDA is in control, working over Daniels and does a little Curry Man celebration, which angers Daniels. Jay tags in, but the Addiction cuts him off right away and beat him down in the corner. Jay fires up, hitting a superkick and backdrop on the floor. He tags in KUSHIDA, he runs wild on Daniels and locks on a hover board lock, but Daniels makes the ropes. Daniels ends up knocking Kaz to the floor; Kaz then trips up KUSHIDA and Daniels hits a springboard moonsault and then tosses KUSHIDA to the floor. The Addiction takes the heat on KUSHIDA and we take another break. Post break and KUSHIDA fires back and looks for the tag, but Jay had been pulled to the floor. KUSHIDA then drops Kaz with a huge right, and we get wholesale changes to Jay and Daniels. Jay works him over, heads up top and hits the elbow drop and covers for 2. The Addiction cuts of the Lethal injection and hit a double team neck breaker. Kaz accidentally takes out Daniels, and KUSHIDA gets the hot tag. The DDT connects but Kaz fights off back to the future. They then blow a spot where KUSHIDA went for the back handspring, Kaz was to get him on his shoulders for an electric chair drop but it went horribly wrong. Kay hits Kaz with lethal injection, Daniels hits angel’s wing on him, but KUSHIDA gets the hover board lock on Daniels and picks up the win. Jay Lethal & KUSHIDA defeated The Addiction @ 13:20 via submission [***] Outside of the big old botch-a-roo down the stretch, the match was good. It really should have been better with the talent involved, but it was the best thing on a bland and lifeless show.

-Thanks for reading.

– End scene.

Tonight’s episode of ROH TV was flat, lifeless and contained nothing you needed to see. Take a pass this week and save yourself an hour…
