– Follow all of my reviews at this link.

– Matt Taven joins commentary.

The Dawgs (Ferrara & Titus) vs. The Kingdom (O’Ryan & Marseglia) w/Matt Taven vs. Coast to Coast (LSG & Ali): LSG and O’Ryan in to begin, LSG slaps O’Ryan and Ferrara tags himself in. Ali and LSG work double teams and cover for 2. Titus tags himself in and O’Ryan and Ferrara clear the ring and Ali hits a dive, but no one really caught him. Titus in with a dropkick, Marseglia in and takes him to the floor and a dive follows. LSG hits a corkscrew 450 onto the pile on the floor. Post break and Ali cuts off Marseglia. LSG was taken out and the Kingdom pulls the Dawgs to the floor. The Kingdom works double teams on Ali, but he manages to tag LSG and he runs wild on the Kingdom. Marseglia cuts him off, but the Dawgs pull Marseglia to he floor and work over LSG. The Dawgs argue like always, but Titus uses Ferrara as a weapon. Ali backing and they get Ferrara in the tree of WHOA and his coast to coast dropkicks. The Kingdom returns and hit sexy murder for the win. The Kingdom defeated Coast to Coast & The Dawgs @ 7:25 via pin [**½] This was an overall fine match, they had some good ideas, but it felt way too clunky, and far from smooth. The Kingdom continues to march towards a tag title shot.

– The Kingdom cuts a post match promo, claiming a conspiracy against them. They beat Search and Destroy two weeks ago, pinning Sabin. They also still want their six-man title shot. They demand a shot at the tag titles.

– We get highlights from Global Wars when Dalton Castle returned and attacked Cody.

– We get highlights from Global Wars, and Flip Gordon says he’s creating an army and go after Bullet Club.

– Cody arrives, he has defeated Cheeseburger and Scorpio Sky in recent weeks. Tonight he defends against a guy everyone wants to see (teasing Dalton Castle). He introduces the #1 contender, ROH dojo student, Ryan Nova.

Non-Title Match: ROH Champion Cody vs. Ryan Nova: Nova bites the ring off of Cody’s hand, and gets a roll up for 2. Cody quickly hits cross Rhodes, but pulls Nova up at 2. He then locks in the American nightmare deathlock and Nova taps. Champion Cody defeated Ryan Nova @ 1:15 via pin [NR] This was another quick, heel bullshit wins over an undeserving challenger, designed to get some heat on Cody for not defending against real challengers.

– Dalton Castle arrives and he was not impressed with Cody’s win, and mocks Cody’s lucrative contract. Castle says no one is mad, just disappointed. Castle says Cody is good, but as ROH champion, his performances have been lackluster. Why do what you’ve been doing when you can face Castle. Cody says that this feels like wrestling 101, and says they don’t need to do this. Cody says Castle can’t beat him, so don’t waste the fans time. He says he can help and says he’ll call WWE and get Castle a developmental deal, one call to Paul and Castle can develop himself and then comeback when he’s ready. All of your little friends left and took the guaranteed deals. Coy says he’s going to leave and tells Castle to think about it. Castle says fuck it and attacks Cody and tosses him in the ring and lays out Cody with bangarang. Castle grabs the mic and says he thought about it, and says nope; I love it here and will take your title. That was a really good segment.

– They will start a mini-tournament to crown a new #1 contender for the TV Title next week.

– We now get a sad man Bully Ray faux retirement video package.

-We get highlights of Jay Lethal going 3-0 on the Global Wars tour. He says he’s always asked about what is left for him. He wants to be the best on the world, and wants to hold the ROH title again, because when you hold the title, you’re the best and everyone looks to you.. Nice promo from Lethal.

– We get a promo with the Briscoes, and Jay runs down Mark for failing to win the TV title, reminding him that they are a tag team.

ROH World Tag Team Championship Match Champions The Motor City Machine Guns (Sabin & Shelly) vs. War Machine (Rowe & Hanson) : War Machine attack and hit Sabin with fallout almost immediately, but Shelly makes the save; awesome start. Rowe hits shotgun knees on Shelly and then throws Hanson onto him. They isolate Shelly, and work him over in the corner. Sabin is down and out as Hanson lays in knee strikes on Shelly. Sabin finally recovers and rushes in, makes the save but gets cut off right away. Rowe catches a Shelly high cross, but Sabin hits a missile dropkick to take him down. The Guns send the challengers to the floor and Sabin hits a suicide dive to wipe them out. Back in they go, and the Guns look to take control on Rowe. Double teams follow, and Shelly covers for 2. Quick tags by the Guns, the double teams continue as they keep the heat on Rowe. Hanson in and they cut him off right away. Rowe tries to fire up and slams Sabin onto Shelly. Tag to Hanson, and he runs wild with rights and kicks. Forever clotheslines follow. It breaks down as all four are in. The Guns lay in a series of kicks on Hanson, and then hit the dream sequence on Rowe. They look for skull and bones, but Hanson saves himself and War Machine hits the pop up powerslam and Hanson follows with a dive to the floor. They look for fallout, but The Addiction arrives and shoots silly string at War Machine, so they attack him. Sabin rolls up Hanson and the Guns retain. Champions The Motor City Machine Guns defeated War Machine @ 10:05 via pin [***] This was a good match, they worked well together and played the size dynamic well. Hated the finish and bullshit with the Addiction. I get that their gimmick is that they want to ruin everything to stick it to the fans, but the interference style finishes are becoming way too commonplace on ROH TV these days.

– Thanks for reading.

– End scene.

This was an overall solid effort this week by ROH, if short on time, the Cody/Castle segmental and main were good.
