The Briscoes vs. Best Friends: The Briscoes attack at the bell, isolating Chuck in the ring but he fires back and Trent is back in, They toss Jay and work over Mark with double teams and then hug. Jay takes Chuck to the floor, and the Briscoes attack Trent and then dump him. We get some more floor brawling. Post break, and Trent battles back with a tornado DDT. Tag to Chuck and he runs wild, laying in chops and then a sitout powerbomb for 2 on Jay. Jay cuts him off with a dropkick, Mark tags back in and Trent rushes in to make the save. The soul food/German combo follows and Trent hits a dive, taking out the Briscoes. Back in and the Best Friends hit the lawn dart cutter for 2 on Mark. They look for Strong Zero, but Jay cuts off Chuck and Mark hits a lariat on Trent. Jay hits a lariat and Mark takes out Chuck. The Jay driller and froggy bow puts Trent away. The Briscoes defeated Best Friends @ 7:20 via pin [***] This was a good back and forth opener, with the Briscoes picking up a strong win ahead of challenging for the tag titles on Friday. This was exactly what it needed to be.

– Post match, the Guns attack and beat down the Briscoes with belt shots. They choke out Mark with a chain and Sabin lays out Jay with a Jay driller; sweet revenge for the tag team champions to further build Friday’s match.

– We get highlights of Kenny King winning back the TV Title last week.

– We get highlights from the Women on Honor title tournament, match reviews are available here.

– They promise more tournament action next week.

Christopher Daniels vs. Adam Page: Kaz & Sky are out with Daniels. Bully Ray arrives and is glad Bullet Club listened and didn’t come to the ring. He then sends Kaz & Sky to the back, because if they don’t, Daniels is DQ’d and he will suspend him, ruining their trios tile match on Friday. Page attacks right away, working over Daniels in the corner. They brawl to the floor, and page slams Daniels to the barricade repeatedly. Page follows with chops, tosses a chair in the ring and then chokes out Daniels. Daniels fights back, trips up Page, and takes control. Post break, and they trade strikes back and forth. Page finally takes Daniels down, and looks to fire up. He follows with corner attacks, and then a powerbomb and superkick. Page follows with the shooting star press off of the apron, rolls Daniels back in and the buckshot lariat is countered and Daniels rolls him up for 2. Page looks for rite of passage, countered and Daniels hits the uranage. The BME misses, and Page hits the buckshot lariat for the win. Adam page defeated Christopher Daniels @ 7:00 via pin [**¾] This was an overall pretty good match, with a nice closing stretch. Page picked up the big win to keep his momentum going, but Daniels got the last laugh, continuing the build for Friday’s PPV.

– Post match, Shane Taylor arrives and attacks Page at the orders of SoCal Uncensored; he’s a hired gun and was not barred from the ring. Taylor lays out Page with the KO shot as Daniels talk shit and hugs Taylor.

– Bully Ray has words with Daniels & Taylor post match; he’s not very pleased.

Dalton Castle & Jay Lethal vs. Marty Scrull & Punishment Martinez: We have PPV opponents tagging here as the final hype for Friday’s PPV. Jay & Martinez start us off. They lock up and Martinez hits a shoulder tackle. Jay escapes a chokeslam, avoids kicks and lays in chops. They work into some fun back and forth and then into a stand off. Marty tags in, Castle wants in and gets the tag. They lock up and Castle powers Marty to the corner. They work into some slick counter work, and then separate. Marty flips Castle the bird and castle attack and tags in Jay. Jay lays in back elbows, tags in Castle and they work double teams. Castle then follows with suplexes, quick tags follow as Jay continues to isolate Marty, but quickly gets cut off and Marty hits the apron superkick. Post break, and Martinez is in and working over Jay. Jay escapes the psycho diver and tags in Castle, who runs wild. Suplexes to Marty follow, Martinez in and Castle cuts him off and follows with running knee strikes. The dead lift German on Marty gets 2. Jay tags back in and accidentally kicks Castle. Marty hits the ghost buster and looks for the chicken wing, but Martinez tags himself in and the psycho driver connects and the double stomp follows for 2. Marty tags himself in now, he and Martinez argue and it breaks down. Jay hits the lethal combination on Marty, and Martinez cuts him off with the ripcord kick. The big lariat follows. Castle cuts him off with a dead lift German. Marty suplexes Castle to the corner, but Jay hits a suicide dive and Martinez attacks the boys, Jay fights off the chokeslam and superkick. Marty accidentally blinds Martinez with the powder. Castle takes Martinez to the floor and Jay finishes Marty with the lethal injection. Dalton Castle & Jay Lethal defeated Marty Scrull & Punishment Martinez @ 12:05 via pin [***] This was an overall good & fun main event, adding some fire to two of the PPV matches, and also giving Lethal a win ahead of the show to give him some more momentum.
