Coast To Coast (LSG and Shaheem Ali) vs. Best Friends (Beretta and Chucky T): Caprice Coleman has joined commentary. While I hated to see Roppongi Vice end, I do love that it will lead to more Chucky T in ROH. They work a fin back and forth opening stretch until Ali cuts off Beretta and C2C work double teams. Nice wok early by C2C, who have built themselves into a very reliable and fun lower card team. Beretta gets the tag and the Best Friends hit a double team, soul food into a German to take us to break. Post break Ali cuts off Beretta and then LSG and Chucky T tag in. LSG runs wild, hitting a springboard lariat and back breaker, leading to a near fall. Chucky T fights back, clears out Ali and the Best friends hit a double team cutter for the near fall. Ali tags in, v cuts him off but Ali cuts off the tornado DDT and turns it into a catatonic. LSG tosses Chucky to the floor allowing Ali to hit a dive. LSG up top and wipes out the pile with a big 450. Back in and Ali hits the frog splash for a great near fall as Chucky T makes the save, tossing Ali to the floor. LSG’s 450 eats the knees of Beretta, the running knee strike follows and Chucky T hits the awful waffle and Beretta hits the cradle piledriver to pick up the win. Best Friends defeated Coast To Coast @ 10:40 via pin [***½] This was a very good, action packed opening match. Coast To Coast got a lot in and looked great, even in defeat. They have a ton of potential.

– Jay Lethal was cutting a backstage interview, but was interrupted by Silas Young. They brawled and then the Beer City Bruiser arrived. Lethal brawled with him and hit him low, but Young attacked Lethal from behind. It all ended with Lethal demanding to face Young and Bruiser either in a singles match or a tag matches. Unfortunately Lethal has no (established via storyline) friends left.

Matt Taven w/Vinny Marseglia and TK O’Ryan vs. Jay Briscoe: Taven attacks at the bell, but Briscoe cuts him off and sends him to the floor. He looks for a dive, but Vinny has an ax and distracts him. That allows Taven to attack. Briscoe takes him to the corner, and lays the boots to him. The clothesline and running kick follows. Briscoe hits a snap suplex for 2. Briscoe follows with uppercuts, but Taven cuts him off with a knee strike. Post break, Taven misses the top rope attack, allowing Briscoe to hit a DVD. He then follows with uppercuts, but Taven hits a disaster kick. He goes for a lionsault and eats knees. Briscoe turns him inside out with a lariat for 2. Taven counters out of the neck breaker, but Briscoe lays in jabs. Taven hits the enziguri and blue thunder driver, which gets 2. Taven argues with the ref, Briscoe counters the climax and sends him to the floor. Briscoe flies over Taven on the suicide dive attempt and eats the barricade. He’s ok though and rolls Taven back in. The mafia kick connects, Vinny is in and Briscoe takes him out. O’Ryan gets involved and is in the ring. He begs off, but then takes off his walking boot and hits Briscoe for the DQ. Post match the Kingdom get chairs as O’Ryan runs around to show that he’s fine. They hit a triple team conchairto and stand tall. Jay Briscoe defeated Matt Taven @ 9:30 via DQ [**½]
This ended up a perfectly fine match, with the overly long and completely overbooked finish happened. Where were Bully and Mark? I guess this will lead to The Kingdom vs. Bully & The Briscoes.

– Cody brags about all of his ROH title defenses and says he will fight anyone. He then said if anyone in ROH or any other promotion wants a shot, all they have to do is “sign up and show up.”

ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Title Match: Champions Dalton Castle and The Boys vs. Colt Cabana and The Tempura Boyz (Sho and Yo): Castle and the Boys run wild early, but get pulled to the floor and then Cabana and his Boyz pose. Castle hits a suplex on Cabana, and then poses with his boys. Team Cabana try to regroup on the floor, and Cabana is back in. Lots of stalling here, Sho tags in and Castle takes him down and they grapple a bit. One of the boys tag in, the other boy tags in and climbs on his shoulders. Yo now in and he gets on Sho’s shoulders for a chicken fight, but Cabana cuts that off. The Boyz take control, working double teams on one of the boys. Sho hits a fisherman’s suplex and transitions to an arm bar. The boys pull the switch as Castle and Cabana argue and distract the ref. Cabana and his Boyz work the heat on one of the boys, but they pull another switch. Castle refuses the help of the Boyz, allowing the boy to tag out to Castle. He cleans house, tossing Boyz around and then hitting a German on Cabana. He tosses his boys to the floor to take out the Tempura Boyz, and follows with a suicide dive onto Cabana. The boys hit a double dropkick on Cabana, and Castle hits a German for 2. It breaks down, with the Tempura Boyz working double teams. Cabana looks to finish off one of the boys, but Castle makes the save and Cabana takes out the boys, but Castle hits bangarang for the win. Champions Dalton Castle and The Boys defeated Colt Cabana and The Tempura Boyz @ 11:13 via pin [**½] This was a perfectly fine main event, but dragged down a bit by all of the stalling and shenanigans. The good news is that we have seemingly got closure on Castle and Cabana, allowing Castle to move on.

– Post break, Castle tells Cabana that they have history, but he’s admired Cabana for a long time, admitting that Cabana has been an inspiration. Castle wants to like him, and he’s beaten him three times, and wants to know if he’s earned Cabana’s respect. Cabana offers his hand and they shake. We’re all friends!

– Next week we get Josh Woods vs. Shane Taylor, & The MCMG challenging the Young Bucks for the tag team titles.

– End scene.

– Thanks for reading.
