Adam Page vs. Kenny King: Page was one of the men that ruined King’s first TV Title shot against KUSHIDA, so he’s going for revenge ahead of his TV Title rematch on Friday’s PPV. They work a nice back and forth, with King controlling until Page sends him to the floor. We get some floor brawling, Page misses a moonsault off the stage, allowing King to hit a corkscrew cross body off the apron. Post break, Page cuts off King with a piledriver and they go back to the floor. Page follows and works him over, slamming him to the barricade. Page rolls King back in, looks to control but King gets a sunset flip for 2. Page hits a bridging slam, covering for 2. Caprice Coleman joins commentary; the Briscoes will be on his show next week. Page tries to beat King down, but runs into a spinebuster. Clotheslines follow, King then kicks Page to the floor. Page avoids the plancha and hits his shooting star press off the apron. Back in and Page misses the buckshot lariat, allowing King to lock in a Muta lock. Page escapes, but King sets him up top and follows with the jumping kick. The royal flush finishes it. Kenny King defeated Adam Page @ 10:32 via pin [**¾] Pretty good match overall, with the right man winning ahead of the PPV. What made no sense was the fact that Page hits the piledriver, and commentary sells it like death and continued to talk like it was bothering King, but Page never worked the neck and it didn’t seem to bother him; the commentary didn’t reflect the work at all. It’s like they were given match notes and then the guys did something completely different.

Marty Scurll vs. Rocky Romero: Romero attacks right away, works the arm bar but Scurll escapes. Romero they lays in strikes, and sends Scurll to the floor and follows with a suicide dive. Romero is fired up. Scurll quickly attacks the arm to cut him off and to start the set up for the chicken wing. Scurll is completely focused on the arm, picking Romero apart and keeping him grounded. Post break, Scurll sends Romero to the floor and hits the apron superkick. Back in and Scurll hits a spinning slam, and covers for 2. They trade several pinning attempts, but Romero fires up with rights, goes for sliced bread but Scurll counters for the chicken wing but Romero locks in the arm bar. Scurll powers out into a buckle bomb, follows with a basement dropkick and covers for 2. Romero manages to fire up enough and hit the running knee strike, but Scurll kicks out at 2. Scurll counters sliced bread, hits the superkick but Romero hits a RANA into an arm bar. Scurll fights, and just barely makes the ropes. Romero lays in a series of kicks, but Scurll hits the lariat and finishes Romero with the bird of prey for the win. Marty Scurll defeated Rocky Romero @ 9:44 via pin [***½] Both guys were great, but I think that some forget how good Rocky Romero is; he was great here and brought out the best in Scurll ahead of Friday’s PPV. This was a very good back and forth match, with Scurll picking up the hard fought win ahead of the PPV and breaking out something new to do so.

The Briscoes vs. The Kingdom (Vinny Marseglia & TK O’Ryan): Bully Ray is out on commentary, and discusses Jay Briscoe’s recent issues. The Briscoes take early control, working over Vinny. O’Ryan tags in, but runs into a DVD by Mark. Mark keeps control, choking out O’Ryan and then working him over in the corner. Vinny blind tags in and attacks mark and beats him down. Mark tries to battle back on both, but they cut him off and work some double teams, scoring a near fall. The Kingdom keeps control, keeping Mark isolated in their half of the ring. O’Ryan looks good so far coming off of that broken leg, smooth work with no hesitation in his work. Post break, Mark battles back with a PELE and jay gets the hot tag and runs wild. O’Ryan tries to beg off, but Jay keeps kicking ass. Vinny heads under the ring as Jay hits a neck breaker for 2. Mark cuts off Vinny, who had a chair. Jay grabs the chair, looks for a Jay driller but the ref takes the chair away. The Briscoes work over O’Ryan, the hit a crucifix neck breaker and Mark up top but Vinny shoves him off. Low blow by O’Ryan on Jay. Vinny hits the senton and O’Ryan covers for 2. Vinny hits a uranage on Jay, covering for 2. O’Ryan grabs a baseball bat, Mark tags in and works over Vinny. O’Ryan tags in and tries and fails to use the bat. Double teams follow on Mark, but Jay makes the save. Mark takes Vinny to the floor, hits a dive, Jay hits the driller on O’Ryan and that’s enough for the win. The Briscoes defeated The Kingdom @ 11:30 via pin [***] This was a good main event, adding some heat to Friday’s PPV match.
