– Kalisto will celebrate his birthday tonight, by beating down Drew Gulak and then winning back the CW title on Sunday. Enzo and Gulak talk, standing by Kalisto’s cake. Gulak promises to make a difference tonight, as Enzo promises to make tonight unforgettable.

Brian Kendrick & Jack Gallagher vs. Cedric Alexander & Rich Swann: This is a tornado tag rules match, so no tags. They brawl at the bell and spill to the floor. Alexander works over Kendrick, but Gallagher flies out of nowhere with a shotgun dropkick, taking out Alexander. Gallagher and Kendrick now double team Swann, and roll him back into the ring. They beat him down, and make sure to keep Alexander on the floor. Swann fires up and fights back, but gets cut off. They then go for repeated covers, but Swann survives. Swann tossed to the floor, Alexander back in and hits a head scissors and dropkicks. He hits the back elbow on Gallagher, and follows with the standing Spanish fly but Kendrick makes the save. Alexander trips up Kendrick, and lays in the kick to the face. Gallagher saves Kendrick and head butts Alexander as he flies in with the springboard clothesline. Kendrick backing, locks in the captain’s hook as Gallagher works an arm bar on Swann. Alexander looks to face, Swann stops his arm from dropping so Kendrick and Gallagher work the double submission on Swann. Alexander makes the save, but eats double teams and the sliced bread but Swann makes the save. Swann fires back with rights and a superkick, the double leg drop follows, but the covers only get 2. Swann up top, but Kendrick crotches him. Alexander stops Kendrick and that leads to Alexander being tossed to he floor. Kendrick and Gallagher double hip toss Swann off the top, and that gets 2. Alexander takes out Gallagher, takes out Kendrick with the kick and springboard clothesline. Kendrick escapes the lumbar check, hits a superkick, but Alexander counters and Gallagher cuts off the lumbar check. Swann back in and superkicks Gallagher to he floor and hits a suicide dive into a tornado DDT on the floor. Alexander hits the lumbar check for the win. Cedric Alexander & Rich Swann defeated Brian Kendrick & Jack Gallagher @ 10:57 via pin [***½] This was a very good match to open the show, they had some great near falls and false finishes, and made the most of the time given to them. It was a smart way to kickoff the show following the Raw invasion of Smackdown.

– Daivari cuts a promo, praising Enzo for making them all more popular and rich. Ali arrives and says he will translate for Daivari. He says Daivari has his head up Enzo’s ass, and then says Daivari looks stupid.

Mustafa Ali vs. Ariya Daivari: The bell rings and Ali rips off Daivari’s jacket, sends him to the floor and then puts on the jacket and beats on Daivari before throwing the jacket at him. Ali picks up the pace, hit a pop up high cross and covers for 2. Ali lays in chops, but Daivari cuts off the springboard and shoves Ali to the floor. Back in and Daivari takes the heat, beating down Ali in the corner. Ali fires back with rights, but Daivari cuts him off with a bulldog, covering for 2. Daivari grounds things, but Ali counters into a crucifix for 2. Daivari now hits the spinebuster, covering for 2. Daivari to the ropes but misses the elbow drop as Ali rolled out of the way. Ali back in and fires up, laying in strikes and a dropkick. Ali hits the apron kick and tornado DDT, covering for 2. They work into a series of counters, Daivari takes control and heads up top and hit the splash, covering for 2. Ali fights off Daivari, but runs into a boot. Daivari to the ropes, Ali runs over and hits a RANA. The imploding 450 finishes Daivari. Mustafa Ali defeated Ariya Daivari @ 7:20 via pin [**½] This was a perfectly fine match, with a dead heat segment by Daivari, Ali won, which was good, but this was about every bland Daivari match you’ve seen. It was very average.

– Tozawa and Kalisto meet backstage, and Tozawa wishes him a happy birthday.

– Enzo arrives with Gulak, and the cake is ringside. He went out of his way to make Kalisto’s birthday special. Kalisto’s gift tonight will be a beat down at the hands of Gulak.

Kalisto vs. Drew Gulak: Gulak grounds things right away, Kalisto makes the ropes and escapes. Gulak follows with a slam, lays in chops but Kalisto hits a head scissors and a kick sends Gulak to the floor. Enzo yells at Kalisto, and tries to distract him. He does and Gulak attacks, and they tease tossing Kalisto into the cake. Back in the ring they go, and Gulak lays the boots to Kalisto. Gulak works a neck crank, and then covers for 2. Gulak sets Kalisto up top and then press slams him to the mat, covering for 2. The crowd sings happy birthday as Gulak get party favors. Kalisto fires back with kicks, but Gulak again lays the boots to him. Gulak slams Kalisto off the ropes, covering for 2. Kalisto now tossed to the floor, they tease the cake spot again, but Gulak slams Kalisto to the mat and backing works the surfboard. Kalisto works a quick escape and hits a springboard corkscrew elbow. Gulak cuts him off and leaps off the bottom rope, misses and the spiked RANA gets 2 for Kalisto. Gulak to the floor, and Kalisto hits a suicide dive. Enzo trips up Kalisto on the apron, Enzo talks shit as Kalisto rolls back in the ring. Gulak now sings happy birthday to Kalisto, but Kalisto hits salida del sol for the win. Kalisto defeated Drew Gulak @ 8:03 via pin [*½] This was a really flat and boring match, built around the tease of the cake spot. It felt about twice as long as it actually was.

– Post match, Enzo and Gulak beat down Kalisto, but Kalisto fights back. Gulak saves Enzo from the cake, but Kalisto fights back again and Enzo runs away. Kalisto chases after him, Enzo is backstage and the cake arrives. Kalisto attacks and smashes Enzo into the cake and throws some on him.

– End Scene.

– Thanks for reading.
