Main Event reviews are back for the millions of people that are dancing in the streets for hot and sexy WWE E-Show action!

– You can watch WWE Main Event on Hulu.

Jason Jordan vs. Curt Hawkins: Jordan controls with ease early, using his amateur wrestling skills for takedowns. Hawkins hits a cheap shot, looks to take control but ends up running into a dropkick. But Hawkins quickly rebounds and slams Jordan to the buckles. The suplex follows and Hawkins gets a cover for 2. He grounds the action, working the arm of Jordan, the one Elias hit with the guitar. Jordan looks to fire up, but Hawkins trips him up and drops the elbow, covering for 2. Hawkins tries to keep him grounded, Jordan gets to his feet and Hawkins hits a belly to back suplex. Hawkins heads up top and misses the elbow drop. Jordan fires up with strikes, slams Hawkins to the corner and again. The overhead belly to belly connects. The pop up neck breaker finishes it. Jason Jordan defeated Curt Hawkins @ 4:30 via pin [**½] According to WWE, this makes 127 consecutive losses for Hawkins. As for the match, this was a perfectly solid and cleanly worked match that the crowd really didn’t care about, but considering who was involved, you can’t blame them.

– We get highlights of Smackdown invading Raw.

– Back to Raw for Kurt Angle getting his balls cut off by Stephanie McMahon. Angle apologizes to the roster, but is interrupted by Stephanie McMahon, fresh off a six-month or so vacation. She’s happy to be back and talks about Raw’s 25th anniversary in January. She supported Angle as GM, and supported him through the illegitimate child fiasco, and says he led by example, including at TLC when he competed. She respected him, until last week. She doesn’t want to hear “his pathetic excuses,” and runs down Shane. She says Shane is picking on her because he lost at HIAC. Shane embarrassed Raw last week, and Angle allowed Raw to become a mockery last week. She calls him incompetent. She says that Angle will captain team Raw at Survivor Series and wants results. She wants victory or she’ll find a new GM. It’s not a Stephanie McMahon return without some balls being cut off. The worst part of it all is that her character remains the same, it never changes or evolves, and I feel does nothing to add to the product. It’s a complete turn off. The only thing that was good here is confirming that Angle is wrestling at Survivor Series. You can read my Raw Review at this link.

– Back to Raw for Alexa Bliss vs. Mickie James. JIP as James rolls her back in, heads up top and hits the seated senton for 2. Bliss tries to run, but is tossed back in, and James rolls her up for 2. James gets a bridging cradle for 2, but Bliss cuts her off with a big right and… covers for the win. Champion Alexa Bliss defeated Mickie James via pin [**] This was a flat and uninspired main event, not nearly as good as their PPV match. You can read my Raw Review at this link.

– We get a Survivor Series hype package.

Cedric Alexander vs. Tony Nese: These guys have worked a lot together, so if given time, this should be good. Nese as always, takes time to pose. Alexander is not impressed, and thy lock up. Nese slams Alexander down, talks some shit to him and Alexander now gets a takedown and he poses. Nese tries to work the arm; Alexander escapes and hits a head scissors and dropkick. Alexander follows with chops, connects with a forearm but as he goes springboard, Nese cuts him off and then hits a gut buster. Post break and Alexander cuts off Nese, hits the springboard clothesline and covers for 2. Nese fights off the lumbar check, but Alexander counters a roll up for 2. Alexander hits a big right, but Nese hits a pump handle slam for 2. They trade strikes, Alexander hits the back handspring kick and lumbar check and that’s that. Cedric Alexander defeated Tony Nese @ 6:10 via pin [**¾] This was pretty good, I just wish they got more time.

– Back to Raw for BRAUN SMASH. We see Miz finding garbage in his locker rook and his attempts to escape Raw. We then see Miz trying to make nice with Kane and Kane telling him to fuck off. Miz, Dallas, & Axel are trying to escape, and they get in the limo. But a garbage truck arrives to stop them. BRAUN IS NOT DONE WITH YOU YET AND ARRISES FROM THE TRASH! BRAUN chases Miz and company, running across the top of the limo which was awesome, as we see Bliss still celebrating. BRAUN chases them into the arena and kicks the shit out of Miz and company. They try to swarm him, but he tosses Dallas down the ramp and then Axel. BRAUN then tosses Miz down the ramp and follows. He tosses Miz in the ring and beats down Axel, but Axel saves Miz so he eats a powerslam. He hits another and then a third and a fourth. Miz is terrified. BRAUN stands tall. Miz and Dallas runaway as BRAUN carries Axel to the stage and slams him through the announce table. This was one of the very few bright spots on an overall poor show. You can read my Raw Review at this link.

– End scene.

– Thanks for reading.

Main Event was once again a solid show, and a much better way of consuming Monday’s product without investing three-hours…
