Shelton Benjamin vs. No Way Jose: Benjamin attacks with strikes right away, Jose counters back and follows with a dropkick and shoulder tackle. Benjamin powders and starts attacking the conga line. Jose cuts him off, so Benjamin tosses a conga member into him. He whips Jose to the apron and then posts him. Divorce court follows and that gets 2. Benjamin grounds things, targeting the arm. Jose fires back, hits a slam and big boot as both men are down. Jose then follows with rights, a clothesline and flapjack for 2. Jose heads up top and Benjamin counters into an arm bar and Jose taps. Shelton Benjamin defeated No Way Jose @ 4:40 via submission [**½] Shelton can still be really good and Jose is fun, this was a solid match with Shelton busting out something new.

Champion Riddick Moss vs. Cedric Alexander: They lockup and Moss slams Alexander down. Moss follows with a shoulder tackle, poses and then hits knee strikes. Alexander counters back with chops, kicks and a missile dropkick. Moss powders and Alexander follows with an apron PK. He delivers chops, and back in Moss cuts him off. He follows with shoulder tackles, and then grounds Alexander. Alexander fights to his feet, but Moss drags him back down with a waist lock. Alexander fights again, gets to his feet and Moss cuts him off with clubbing strikes. Alexander counters back into a dropkick, delivers strikes and a flurry of kicks and running forearms. The dropkick sends Moss to the floor and Alexander follows with the suicide dive. The slingshot flatliner follows for 2. Moss counters the lumbar check, hits a sloppy ass looking slam and that gets 2. Superkick by Alexander but Moss counters into a uranage for the win. Champion Riddick Moss defeated Cedric Alexander @ 6:25 via pin [**½] Moss has some rough edges still, but this was solid with Cedric doing everything in his power to make him look good [*insert rant from anytime this year about Cedric being wasted on Main Event/Raw when he could still be having great and or meaningful matches on 205 Live or NXT*] Of note, my eight-year old was home sick from school and was watching over my shoulder. She loved this… until Cedric lost. “Why did the cool guy lose, he looked so much better than that other guy.” Brings a tear to my eye… just like Cedric being stuck on Main Event.
