Main Event reviews are back for the millions of people that are dancing in the streets for hot and sexy WWE E-Show action!

– You can watch WWE Main Event on Hulu.

Kalisto vs. Curt Hawkins: Hawkins tries to overpower Kalisto right away, but Kalisto lights him up with kicks until Hawkins cuts him off with a back elbow. Kalisto quickly comes back with a head scissors and sends Hawkins to the floor. Hawkins back in and runs into a RANA, he sets Kalisto on the ropes and then pulls him off, with Kalisto hitting his head off the buckles on the way down. Hawkins then hits the spinebuster, covering for 2. Hawkins takes some time to celebrate and then misses a split legged moonsault. Kalisto picks up the pace, avoiding the attacks of Hawkins and fires up with kicks. The springboard seated senton follows, kicks and then salida del sol gets Kalisto the win. Kalisto defeated Curt Hawkins @ 4:27 via pin [**½] This was a perfectly solid little match to kick off the show, although I feel if a guy like Kalisto is going to win such a short match, it should be more of an all action showcase for him.

– We get highlights of the recent reunion teases between Ambrose & Rollins, and their issues with Sheamus & Cesaro.

– Back to Raw for as the Shield turns. JIP as Ambrose offers up the fist bump and Rollins refuses. They push and shove, and then brawl. This crowd just wants a simple fisting, but they continue to brawl. Sheamus & Cesaro arrive and they attack. They isolate Rollins in the ring, but Ambrose makes the save. They fight off the champions and clear the ring. They celebrate and they finally share the fist bump to a huge reaction. 2/3 of the band is back together. This was a very good and strong segment to open Raw, the fans were into it big time, as it’s been one of the better angles they have done recently. Angle arrived and officially made the tag title match at Summerslam. You can read my Raw Review at this link

– Back to Raw for Balor vs. Wyatt. JIP as Balor fights off the uranage, and hits sling blade. Wyatt looks for sister Abigail, but Balor escapes and hits a double stomp; Wyatt rolls to the floor. Balor follows, hitting the shotgun dropkick. Back in and Balor up top and Wyatt cuts him off, hitting sister Abigail for the win. Bray Wyatt defeated Finn Balor via pin [**½] This was a perfectly average match with next to no crowd interest and absolutely no drama. It was a match. Wyatt hits another Sister Abigail and the lights go out and then come back on, as Wyatt pours “a bucket of blood” on Balor. It looked like jam, delicious jam. You can read my Raw Review at this link

Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik vs. Ariya Daivari and Drew Gulak: Metalik on 205 Live and Main Event, a big week for him. Dorado and Daivari to begin. Daivari works strikes right away, but Dorado cuts him off with a head scissors. Metalik in and they work double teams, and score an early near fall. Gulak now tags in, and grounds Metalik. Metalik gets to his feet, picks up the pace and then hits a ropewalk missile dropkick for 2. Post break and Dorado hits a head scissors on Gulak, heads up top and hits a high cross for 2. Gulak grabs at the mask and slams Dorado down and then sends Metalik to the floor. Gulak then works an inverted sharpshooter, but Metalik flies in to make the save. Daivari sneaks in and hits a spinebuster on dorado as Gulak covers for 2. Dorado gets a roll up for 2, Daivari makes the save and sends Metalik to the floor. Dorado hits cutters on Daivari & Gulak, he and Metalik up top and Metalik hits a moonsault to the floor onto Daivari. Dorado the hit the shooting star press on Gulak to pick up the win. Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik vs. Ariya Daivari and Drew Gulak [**½] This was another really solid match, Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik are a really fun tag team, and I’d love to see them do some matches with NXT tag teams or the Usos.

– Back to Raw for the meeting of The Four Hossmen of The Apocalypse. JIP as Joe arrives now, noting that he doesn’t fear Brock, and saying he will choke out Brock and rip the title from his hands. BRAUN is here, because he isn’t finished with these guys yet. BRAUN says he’s always the last man standing, but Joe reminds him that he saved BRAUN and allowed him to win. Joe says BRAUN is barely a man who made it to his feet as he put Roman down. Annnnnnnnnd here comes Roman. Roman, BRAUN and Joe battle as Brock stands back and watches. He goes to attack BRAUN, but the guards hit the ring to separate them. Brock & BRAUN do roar spots and start tossing security guys and Angle calls out the goofs from the back. Brock fights them off as the crowd chants to let them fight, and he attacks BRAUN as the show ends. Overall this was a good closing segment to hype the Summerslam main event. Plus I always love when the big hosses clash and take out the random goofs who try and stop them from brawling. You can read my Raw Review at this link

– End scene.

This was a really solid and easy to watch show this week. The matches were fine and even fun at times, with the highlights being good, minus the Wyatt/Balor ones.
