Main Event reviews are back for the millions of people that are dancing in the streets for hot and sexy WWE E-Show action!

Rhyno vs. Dash Wilder: Dash lost to Rhyno two weeks ago and then heat Slater last week. The poor bastard I stuck in the blandest timeline while Dawson is out injured. The crowd loves Rhyno, giving him the big ECW chants. They work some basic back and forth, with both men looking to target the arm, Dash escapes so Rhyno levels him with a shoulder block. Dash to the apron, stuns Rhyno’s arm off the ropes and hits divorce court to take control. Dash celebrates a bit as he takes the heat and works the arm. Rhyno escapes, hits the ropes and rebounds into a double down as they collide center ring. They get to their feet, Rhyno fires up with back elbows and a belly-to-belly suplex. Dash hits a dropkick to cut that off, heads to the second rope, and misses the elbow drop. Rhyno backs off, sets and runs into a knee strike (because he’s not allowed to use the spear anymore), and as Dash charges him, Rhyno finishes him with the spinebuster. Rhyno defeated Dash Wilder @ 5:46 via pin [**½] While there was absolutely nothing spectacular about this, it was a perfectly fine professional wrestling match. Poor Dash, he’s still looking for a win in a post Scott Dawson world.

– Back to Raw for Mickie James putting Alexa Bliss in her place. Bliss says she is disappointed in them. She beat four women last night, and today, she got no congratulations and no cute memes about her big win. Instead, everyone is talking about Asuka debuting; no one appreciates the goddess. She’s cleaned out the division. Mickie James arrives in her hardcore country attire. She says Bliss didn’t beat her last night and heard Bliss talking shit on her during Raw Talk. Bliss says Mickie was one of her favorites when she was a little girl and even liked her on Myspace, back when both were relevant. Bliss says Mickie has a few fans that even think “she’s still got it” and thinks its nice that “Mickie’s demographic” has someone to root for. Bliss makes a joke about Mickie breaking a hip. Mickie says she’s a 6-time women’s champion, and she broke bones, women and barriers before Bliss even wore a training bra, “which is still working out for you. Bliss finally calls Mickie an old lady, and that leads to a brawl and Bliss gets sent to the floor. That was a good segment, playing off of the Raw Talk segment with Bliss and the Twitter comments that followed. The crowd was also into it, I just wish we hadn’t been there and done that in terms of these two, as we got some of it on Smackdown. Hopefully Bliss making it personal is enough to make it different and allow it to be a short-term angle until Asuka arrives. Both were really good here. You can read my Raw Review at this link.

– We now get a look at “the big dog’s” huge win at No Mercy, and Cena’s post match comments, putting over Reigns.

Gran Metalik and Lince Dorado defeated Tony Nese and Drew Gulak: Nese and Metalik in to begin, they’ve worked together a fair bit and are working a really fun and fast paced opening stretch. Dorado tags in, keeps the pacing up and hits a moonsault press. Nese catches a high cross, but Metalik flies in to save Dorado. The faces clear the ring, Dorado hits a dive but Nese cuts off Metalik with a vicious clothesline. Post break, Dorado hits a lethal injection on Gulak for2. It breaks down, Nese and Metalik sent to the floor sand Dorado takes control and hits a superkick. He heads up top, fights off Nese, who then gets wiped out by a Metalik dive. Dorado looked for a shooting star press, completely under rotated, but thankfully landed in a senton position, allowing him not to die and to also pick up the win. Gran Metalik and Lince Dorado defeated Tony Nese and Drew Gulak @ 4:00 via pin [**½] This was fun while it lasted, but criminally short. The cruiserweights usually have the better Main Event matches, but just weren’t given the time to do so.

– We get highlights of Neville and the 205 Live roster trying to kill Enzo

– Back to Raw for Reigns vs. Miz. JIP as Miz escapes the powerbomb. Reigns hits a superman punch, fights off the Miztourage, and follows Miz to the floor and hits the drive by kick. Back in and Miz hits the short DDT for 2. Reigns escapes the skull-crushing finale, and spears Miz for the win. Roman Reigns defeated IC Champion The Miz via pin [**¾]Post match, the Miztourage attacks, but Reigns makes his own comeback and clears them out. But Dallas returns with a chair and Axel has one as well and they beat down Reigns. Miz lays out Reigns with the Skull-crushing finale. Miz returns to beat on Reigns with a chair and then hits a Skull-crushing finale on the chair. The Miztourage then does the Shield fist bump. NOBODY FISTS ROMAN REIGNS! This was a pretty good outing, with the usual Miz antics. Following the win over Cena, you knew Reigns would win, but the post match beat down was good and allowed Miz to get some heat back. You can read my Raw Review at this link.

– End scene.

– Thanks for reading.

This week’s WWE Main Event was a perfectly solid show, serving its purpose as a recap/highlight show. Again, if you don’t want to watch 3-hour Raws, Main Event is a good way to stay updated on things.
