PWInsider reports that Daniel Bryan left New York City on Monday and wasn’t at the Smackdown taping. The Miz was also not at the taping.

– Impact Wrestling will tape a Salute to the Troops event for Twitch on Friday at the Fort Campbell Army Post in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. It will be free for all military personnel, their families, and people with a Department of Defense ID card. It will be held with Tried-N-True Pro Wrestling, which is run by Crimson. Those set for the event include Johnny Impact, X-Division Champion Rich Swann, plus Brian Cage, Moose, Sami Callihan, Eli Drake, Madison Rayne and Kiera Hogan. Sami Callihan was pulled from AAW on Friday to work the event.

– Impact is planning for Johnny Impact to work the AAA event at Madison Square Garden on September 15. If he is still champion by then, he would be the first ever Impact Champion to appear in the venue.
