New Rumor Says Dean Ambrose WWE Exit Could be a Work

– As previously reported, news broke last month that Dean Ambrose was unhappy in WWE and was planning to leave the promotion when his contract expired in April. WWE even confirmed the news on his impending exit. However, Joe Peisich stated on a recent edition of Barnburner’s No Holds Barred podcast (via Ringside News) that the reports of Ambrose leaving could be a “work.”

Peisich stated, “Now I have heard this past week that Dean Ambrose — you know they said that he’s going to leave the WWE and all that. I heard this may have been a work.”

This rumor potentially contradicts another report last week from Brad Shepard on the Oh, You Didn’t Know Wrestling Show. Shepard stated that WWE officials were going to try to make one last effort in order to keep Ambrose in the company and re-sign him.

Dean Ambrose last appeared on WWE TV last Monday on Raw and defeated EC3. He was not in action at last night’s Elimination Chamber event.
