WWE News: Details On Asuka’s Planned Opponent For Fastlane, Sami Zayn Thanks Sean Waltman, Today’s Wrestling Birthdays

– After Mandy Rose pinned Asuka on Smackdown, Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio (via Ringside News) said that it appears as though Asuka will defend her Smackdown Women’s title against Rose at WWE Fastlane. As recently as this week, WWE was considering Asuka vs. Lacey Evans for Wrestlemania, so if Asuka does face Mandy Rose, it’s likely she would win if the rumors are true about Evans.

– In a post on Twitter, Sami Zayn thanked Sean Waltman for paving the way for wrestlers like him to get to WWE. He wrote:

You deserve to be in the Hall of Fame irrespective of your run in DX.
Half the guys on the roster, myself included, may never have had the chance to sign with @WWE without you paving the way.
