Details On The Braun Strowman-Drew McIntyre Collision Spot From RAW
In the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio (via SportsKeeda), Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez spoke about the spot on RAW between Braun Strowman and Drew McIntyre, which resulted in a collision that ultimately destroyed Strowman’s Greatest Royal Rumble trophy.

The two said that the spot was done to take Strowman out of the match so the heel team of McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler could win, pinning Finn Balor. The spot saw Strowman performing the same running tackle he had used on Kevin Owens in the past. Meltzer suggested that Owens was a “softer target” and McIntyre was more similar to a wall, which meant that it had a different affect on McIntyre and Strowman. Alvarez suggested that Strowman used the wrong shoulder as well.
