Drew McIntyre Supports The Lack of A Roof On WarGames Cage
November 18, 2017 | Posted by
While interviewed by 97.9 The Box in Houston this week to promote tonight’s NXT Takeover: WarGames, Drew McIntyre gave his thoughts on the fact that the WarGames cage will not have a roof. McIntyre will not be in the titular match of the event, as he will defend his NXT title against Andrade ‘Cien’ Almas.
He said: “We used to have a roof on it, but that kind of limited the creativity and the crazy stuff the guys can do,” McIntyre said. “We’re in 2017 and the guys are a little more crazy, there is a chance the guys are going to fly off the cage, two rings – side-by-side – surrounded by a cage. Three teams of three, kicking the crap out of each other.”
