WWE News: Erick Rowan’s New Role Rumored To Be Meant For Lars Sullivan, Friends Meet At Royal Rumble AXXESS, Miz & Mrs. Returns In April

– In the latest edition Wade Keller’s podcast (via SportsKeeda, Keller spoke about his belief that Erick Rowan’s new role in WWE, as a bodyguard for Daniel Bryan, was originally meant for Lars Sullivan.

He said: “I think Lars Sullivan was slated for this spot. I mean it just totally would fit Lars’ character and how he was portrayed in NXT.”

Sullivan was advertised for a call-up weeks ago, but was pulled from his appearances due to suffering from anxiety. It was even rumored that he was being considered for a Wrestlemania match with John Cena. Whether Rowan also gets slotted into that spot remains to be seen.
