Footage of Shawn Michaels Hitting Super Kick at NXT Event Surfaces Online, Remarks That He’s Too Old for One More Match
– As previously reported, WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels served as the guest referee for the main event of last night’s NXT house show in Michaels’ hometown of San Antonio, Texas. Drew McIntyre successfully defended his NXT world title against Adam Cole in the headliner for the show.
During the match, Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly tried to interfere and help Adam Cole, but Shawn hit one of them with the Super Kick (Sweet Chin Music). You can check out some video footage of Michaels hitting the Super Kick during the main event from the NXT card below.
Michaels also got on the microphone after the match and remarked to fans asking for one more match, “I can assure you that I’m too old for this s***.” You can also check out that video of Michaels making that remark below.
