One year ago today, WWE released a massive wave of Superstars, producers, coaches, and employees in a wave of pandemic-related cuts on April 15, 2020. To commemorate that day, a number of former WWE talents are looking back on that day via social media (h/t Fightful), including former Superstars Tay Conti, Deonna Purazzo, The Good Brothers, Maria Kanellis, Lio Rush, and more. You can view some of their comments on the occasion below.

Since that time, those wrestlers have been able to bounce back or sign with new promotions elsewhere. Conti is now with AEW. The Good Brothers are now in Impact Wrestling. Lio Rush is now part of MLW and is a recurring player on NJPW Strong. Maria Kanellis has also signed a new contract with ROH.

Ironically enough, on this same day, WWE has also confirmed a number of new roster cuts today, including Samoa Joe, The IIconics, Chelsea Green, and more.
