Hernandez Claims TNA Never Told Him About 2014 Release

January 1, 2016 | Posted by Joseph Lee

In an interview with Wrestling Inc, Hernandez revealed that TNA never actually informed him of his 2014 release from the company. He added that there are no hard feelings on his part toward TNA. Here are highlights:

On his 2014 TNA release: “I was on the payroll, but I wasn’t being used. They had already let Chavo go. I’d been with the company for about 7 or 8 years. They were still paying me, there’s no call, there’s no email, no bird with a note tied to its leg, no smoke signal. Why should I call you? As my contract ended, it was all over the internet. TNA unfollowed me on Twitter, I was like ‘what the hell?'”

On not having any contact with TNA during final six months: “With any social media, someone you’re friends with that unfollows you, what would you think?,” he explained. “You’re been somewhere 8-9 years, that’s almost like family. If you’re sending stuff to websites, can you copy and paste, and maybe email it to me too? When I came back to TNA this year, that was the first contact I’d had with them since then, since December of 2013.”
