Impact News: TNA Spinoff Series Still Being Considered, Who Was and Wasn’t At TV Tapings
– According to a new report, the possibility of Impact spinning TNA off into its own series remains on the table. There were reports a while back that the company was considering such a move, and PWInsider reports that AXS TV has been high on that idea.
TNA is back in some form on Impact Wrestling already, with Moose walking around proclaiming that he’s the “real world champion” because he has the TNA World Title.
– The site also reports that Rob Van Dam was at this week’s TV tapings, while Bully Ray and Ken Shamrock were not. The tease of a potential Aces & 8s reunion at Slammiversary was simply something that TV did in order to help build the mystery of who was going to make their return on the show. As noted, the company taped several weeks of Impact and finished with those tapings today.
