PWInsider reports that some Impact Wrestling talents were not happy they were not told first about the upcoming move to New Jersey for the upcoming April 7 event. The event was originally scheduled for Queens, New York. The move was announced to the public before the talents for Impact Wrestling.

The talent was more upset about the move since they were blindsided by the announcement as they were working around setting other appearances and bookings set for WrestleMania Weekend this year. Per the report, multiple talents expressed that Sonjay Dutt is going to be missed in Impact because he was the member of the management team that did the best at communicating this type of information to talent.

Additionally, a big reason for the move to New Jersey was due to concerns about the New York State Athletic Commission putting a curfew on pro wrestling. This wouldn’t be an issue in New Jersey. Also, Impact has an event on April 4 that will have to be tight due to public transportation timing in New Jersey and New York.

– Pro Wrestling NOAH has announced that Eddie Edwards would be returning to the promotion. Edwards is a former GHC heavyweight champion in NOAH.

– PWInsider reports that Impact still has plans to work with House of Glory later on in New York City.
