Injury Update on Kota Ibushi

– Speaking on today’s Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer had an injury update on NJPW star Kota Ibushi. As previously reported, Ibushi was sidelined after suffering a dislocated shoulder last October.

Meltzer reported that Ibushi stated that he’s about 70-85% healed, but he’s still having trouble with the side of his body that had his shoulder dislocated. He hopes to return to the ring once he has his full strength and bounce back, with the hope that he’d be ready to be back in the ring for the G1 Climax in mid-July.
