Jake Roberts, Ricky Steamboat & More Set For 80s Wrestling Con in April

80s Wrestling Con has announced over twenty superstars for their April convention in Freehold, New Jersey including Jake Roberts and Ricky Steamboat. Also announced are Bruce Prichard, Wendi Richter, Ken Patera, King Kong Bundy, The Nasty Boys, Greg Valentine, Bob Orton, Slick, The Powers of Pain, Tony Atlas, Rocky Johnson, Lanny Poffo, Koko B. Ware, The Wild Samoans, Paul Roma, and Jim Powers.

OVER 20 80’S WRESTLING SUPERSTARS GATHER TOGETHER FOR 80’S WRESTLING CON ON APRIL 27TH IN FREEHOLD, NJ @ iPLAY AMERICA
It was a time where everyone was larger than life. Where you cheered on your favorites to defeat the evil villain. It was cool. It was hip. It was pop culture. It was Rock N’ Wrestling. There were figures, posters, pictures, a cartoon, magazines, coloring books, school notebooks and folders. Don’t forget ice cream bars, shirts, thumb wrestlers, pencils, pajamas, wrestling buddies, board games, and monthly events in a town near you. It could have been in an arena, a high school, or a rec center. One thing was for sure though- it was everywhere. It was 80’s Wrestling.

We will be celebrating that time period on Saturday, April 27th, 2019 in Freehold, NJ at iPlay America with 80’s Wrestling Con from 10am-5pm. Over twenty 80’s Superstars will be appearing at the event, including Jake “The Snake” Roberts, Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat, Bruce “Brother Love” Prichard, Wendi Richter, Ken Patera, King Kong Bundy, The Nasty Boys (Knobbs & Sags), Greg “The Hammer” Valentine, “Cowboy” Bob Orton, “The Doctor of Style” Slick, The Powers of Pain (Warlord & Barbarian), “Mr. USA” Tony Atlas, Rocky Johnson, “The Genius” Lanny Poffo, Koko B. Ware, The Wild Samoans (Afa & Sika), Paul Roma, and Jim Powers.

All the 80’s Superstars will be signing autographs and taking photos with the fans. We have the 80’s Wrestling Fan Dream Experience VIP Package now available. For $299, you will receive (21) autograph ops and (21) photo ops with Roberts, Steamboat, Prichard, Richter, Patera, Bundy, Nasty Boys, Valentine, Orton, Slick, Powers of Pain, Atlas, Johnson, Poffo, Ware, Wild Samoans, Roma, and Powers. The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly of 80’s Wrestling Question & Answer Session, presented by Megalopolis Toys will be one of the big featured attractions at 80’s Wrestling Con and is free to attend. The moments of 80’s wrestling will last forever and now some of the biggest stars that made those moments will sit down and talk about them. Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat, Jake “The Snake” Roberts, Ken Patera, Wendi Richter, and more will be joining the panel.

Pro Wrestling Illustrated was such huge part of 80’s Wrestling and they will be a big part of 80’s Wrestling Con as well. PWI will be asking their readers and followers over the next few months what were the three greatest 80’s covers they ever released. Pro Wrestling Illustrated will reveal the three Greatest PWI 80’s Covers live at 80’s Wrestling Con on April 27th.
