John Cena Asks For Dismissal in Ford Lawsuit Against Him
February 14, 2018 | Posted by
– John Cena has asked a judge to dismiss the lawsuit Ford filed against him for selling his 2017 Ford GT. Ford Motor Company filed a suit against Cena back in November, arguing that his sale of the car, which he was “selected from thousands of applicants for the opportunity to purchase” according to the suit, violated his contract where he agreed to keep the keep the car for at least two years before being allowed to sell it.
According to TMZ, Cena’s response to the lawsuit argues that the final contract didn’t have the twenty-four month no-resale clause that Ford is suing him about. Cena is asking the judge to throw the case out, as he believes the clause is unenforceable because of its lack of presence in the final contract.
