Jonathan Coachman Doesn’t Think Corey Graves Situation Is a Work

As previously reported, Corey Graves has been absent from WWE TV ever since voicing his displeasure with being demoted from RAW to NXT. He threatened that he had a “lot to say” on Tuesday night’s NXT, but he left Orlando and did not appear on the show. He also was not featured on WWE Speed, where he normally calls the action.
In an interview with Busted Open Radio, Jonathan Coachman gave his thoughts on the situation and said that he doesn’t think it is a work. He also noted he doesn’t think Graves should have tweeted what he did. It seems Graves agreed with that sentiment, as he recently deleted all the tweets associated with the situation.
Coachman said on Corey Graves: “People said, ‘Oh, he’s working.’ In order for it to be a work, in my opinion, he would have to be able to be a manager or be a wrestler again. If you’re a manager, the first thing that Vince McMahon said to me years ago when I left the announce table for a couple of years and I became a heel character, he said, ‘You have to be willing to get your ass kicked.’ So, to me, it’s not a work. He should feel slighted. The thing that I would never do is I would never tweet that.”
