Jordynne Grace Joins Cast of Fantasy Film Welcome to Paradise

Variety reports that WWE superstar Jordynne Grace has joined the cast of a fantasy film called Welcome to Paradise, which also stars Bill Nighy and Matthew Horne. Richard Summers-Calvert is the writer and director for the film, which has completed filming and is in post-production. The cast also includes Georgina Bennett, Kirk Patterson, Togo Igawa, Traey Wilkinson and Simon Fisher-Becker. Nighy is prodicing voice work.
It’s said to be a mix of “psychological drama, dark comedy and mythic surrealism. The film follows “Lisa, who awakens on a mysterious beach with no memory. After meeting a creature who tells her she’s arrived at “The Carnival,” she discovers a vibrant venue populated by humans and magical beasts. There she meets Harvey, another lost soul, as they attempt to uncover the truth about their pasts and find redemption — though everything comes with a price.”
Summers-Calvert said: “Some may doubt it could work, but that’s because they’ve never witnessed something like this in the flesh. This film has moments that people will have never seen, heard, or even dreamt before — and that’s what excites me most.”
It’s expected to arrive in late 2025.
