Kazuchika Okada Set to Become a Free Agent Soon

Kazuchika Okada is slated to hit the free agent market soon.

Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated reported today that Okada’s NJPW contract expires at the end of January. The New Japan Pro Wrestling star would usually be in contract talks with NJPW by this time, but Okada is seriously entertaining the possibility of wrestling for a different promotion.

AEW is likely to be interested in signing Okada after signing Will Ospreay, who starts next year once his NJPW deal is up. WWE is reportedly interested in Okada.
