Kenny Omega Expected to Re-Sign With NJPW When His Contract Expires
November 12, 2017 | Posted by
– Kenny Omega does not appear to be WWE-bound. The NJPW star is expected to re-sign with his current company when his contract is up in January, per the WON. The site reports that Omega’s contract with the company expires on January 31st, 2018 but that there is no expectation of the same drama as last year over whether he would stay or leave.
Omega himself has expressed similar statements, having said last week in an interview that he is “staying in New Japan 100%. This is where wrestlers can be themselves and fight for themselves. I want to show how great a place it is.” He is set to face Chris Jericho at WrestleKingdom 12 on January 4th.
