Kevin Nash Joins Cast of Dramedy Caroline

– Deadline reports that WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash has been cast in the upcoming dramedy, Caroline, opposite Andy Richter of Conan fame. The film will be the directorial debut of Outer Range star Morningstar Angeline.
Nash and Richter join the cast opposite Teri Polo, James Udom, Davida Williams, and Sa’Raya Paris Johnson. The story follows an 11-year-old Caroline (Johnson), who is clever and navigating a life of excitement and peril as a shoplifter along with her mother, Jocelyn (Williams). When Caroline’s estranged father, Corey (Udom), enders their lives, things seem to settle, but when the family is threatened with a debt they can’t repay, their peace falters. Caroline and her mom then enter a last ill-fated heist.
Kevin Nash portrays the role of Marcus, a longtime friend of Corey and a former accomplice, who has gone legit as a construction worker and owner of a contracting company. Richter plays Norman Montana, a well-meaning, but deeply insecure, small-town public defender.
Angeline directs the project from a script by Daniel Blum.
