As previously reported, an online rumor that originated from The Wrestling Observer Radio indicated that WWE was looking at a potential returning Superstar as the opponent for Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania 35. The list included names such as Batista, John Cena, Bray Wyatt, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Kurt Angle or Undertaker for the event. Earlier today, the WrestleVotes Twitter account reported on Kevin Owens possibly being considered for the match.

The WrestleVotes account wrote: “Asked about the Bryan v Owens Mania rumors. Got back that they are true. HOWEVER, nothing is set in stone. This wave of momentum that Kofi is on could still shake things up. One source I talked to said don’t be shocked to see Bryan v Kofi as the Mania title match in the end.” You can check out that tweet below.

Currently, Daniel Bryan is going to face Kofi Kingston for the WWE title at Fastlane. However, the situation has been reported as “fluid,” indicated that Kofi Kingston vs. Bryan could happen once again at WrestleMania. As always, “nothing is set in stone.”
