Kurt Angle Says He’s Game to Face Shelton Benjamin at WrestleMania 35
– As previously reported, WWE Superstar Shelton Benjamin pushed on social media to get the spot against Kurt Angle for his retirement match at WrestleMania 35. Later on, WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle responded to Benjamin’s social media campaign, and said “I’m game.” You can check out that exchange below.
Benjamin and Angle do have preexisting history in WWE. Previously, Shelton Benjamin debuted in WWE as part of the Team Angle stable in 2002 and was Angle’s protege. As noted, Angle will reveal his WrestleMania 35 opponent on tomorrow’s edition of Monday Night Raw.
