Kurt Angle Survivor Series

As previously reported, it’s been rumored that Kurt Angle will be ending his in-ring career with WrestleMania 35. Based off the latest edition of The Wrestling Observer Radio (via Ringside News) that appears to still definitely be the case.

Per the report, Dave Meltzer stated that WWE is talking about plans for a retirement match for Kurt Angle at the event. This would mark the official end for Angle’s in-ring career. The report does not mention if there is an opponent in mind for Angle’s final match.

Kurt Angle was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2017. He finally made his in-ring return to WWE at the 2017 TLC event, teaming up with Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins to face The Miz, Braun Strowman, Kane, Cesaro, and Sheamus. This was his first WWE match in over 11 years. He made his in-ring return to WrestleMania last year, teaming up with Ronda Rousey to beat Stephanie McMahon and Triple H.
