– Fightful reports that wreslter Lance Anoa’i is expected to make his debut in Pro Wrestling NOAH later this summer. Anoa’i will reportedly compete in the N1 Victory Tournament starting in July.
The winner of the annual tournament will receive a shot at the GHC Heavyweight Championship. Past winners included former GHC Heavyweight champions Kaito Kiyomiya, Katsuhiko Nakajima, and Kenoh.
This will mark Anoa’i’s debut in Japan. He also currently competes in MLW and has worked multiple independent promotions over the years.
Additionally, Fightful reports that former MLW Heavyweight Champion Jacob Fatu is another name being considered for the N1 Victory Tournament. Fatu has not yet wrestled in Japan during his career. This looks to be part of MLW and NOAH’s promotional alliance that first began in 2019.
