A new edition of Being the Elite is now online, featuring Kenny Omega accidentally hiring the wrong Marty and more. Here’s a recap:

– The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega are on the phone with ‘Marty’, who is offered a full-time contract with AEW. After a suggestion from Nick, Marty is then given the position of Executive Vice President and $650,000 a year. Marty agrees. The Bucks think they just signed Marty Scurll, but Omega reveals he signed Marty Jannetty. The Bucks then tell him to fire Jannetty, calling it “WCW spending.”

– The Bucks talk about being in Miami and calls the TNT renewal an “amazing accomplishment.”

– After some stills from Bash at the Beach, Omega is shown before AEW Dynamite talking with Matt Jackson. Hangman Page tells him not to change with the enemy and Omega agrees to go to the men’s locker room.

– Leva acquires a new librarian to help her give out books, but eventually fires him because he’s not Peter Avalon.

– Kenny tries to talk to Marty about his job but he has the whole family over. Eventually Omega believes he is talking to Shawn Michaels. He says to put Jannetty back on the phone because he doesn’t want to talk about hunting, but ‘Shawn’ asks him about his personal relationship with Christ. Omega then asks ‘Shawn’ if he’s thought about one more match. Omega is asked for his thoughts on Adam Cole, who he said was ‘pretty good’ while he was still alive.

– Luchasaurus has nightmares of CIMA.

– Orange Cassidy gives Kris Statlander a bottle of water, but she has trouble opening it and spills it on him. Later, Cassidy is offered a ride in Jon Moxley’s car (by someone other than Moxley) and after asking some important insurance questions, he gets in.

– Sammy Guevara and Marko Stunt fight over Jenn Decker. Leva Bates shows up to shush them.

– Kenny has been talking with ‘Shawn’ for four and a half hours and agrees to a guest training role at the WWE Performance Center. He eventually gets Jannetty back and fires him, who begins to cry and puts his kid on the phone. Shawn comes back and Kenny tells him they are ‘firing’ Jannetty from $650,000 a year and then offers him $1 million, which Marty accepts. The Bucks return and Omega says they are no longer paying $650,000, but he gave him ‘hush money’ to deal with it.
