Main Event Official For Clash of Champions (Pics, Video)
– The main event is officially announced for WWE Clash of Champions. Jinder Mahal will face AJ Styles for the WWE Championship at the PPV. The match was announced tonight on Smackdown when Mahal said he would be invoking his rematch clause for the PPV. Pics and video from the segment are below.
Mahal invoked his rematch during an AJ Styles in-ring promo where the champion addressed Mahal and said he wants to fight him now. Mahal then appeared on the Titantron and said that he’s too busy. He said he would have beaten Brock Lesnar and that Styles took advantage of him when they faced off last week. Mahal said they would fit when he sees fit, which would be Clash of Champions. The Singh Brothers then attacked Styles, but he fought them off.
